Boulerice and Godard drop the gloves behind the play and square off just outside of the blue line. They grab ahold of each other and Godard throws two rights that Boulerice is able to move away from. They wrestle in-tight for a moment until Godard throws an overhand right. Boulerice goes down to his knees for a second, but quickly gets back up. Godard throws three more rights while Boulerice tries to keep his distance. Godard lands a short right uppercut and Boulerice just misses with a right cross. They exchange rights that miss just before Godard flips Boulerice down to the ice. Godard tries to get some more of Boulerice but the linesmen are right there to prevent anything else from taking place.

Lecavalier jabs at him with his stick and Hartnell shoves him when he returns to his feet, causing them to drop the gloves. They grab ahold of each other and exchange rights. Hartnell throws three more rights while fighting to keep his balance. Lecavalier pushes him into the boards and Hartnell throws another right. Lecavalier wrestles Hartnell down to a knee and throws a couple of rights including an uppercut. Hartnell stands back up but goes down to a knee once again. Lecavalier gets in a few more just before the linesmen intervene. Other Penalties: Hartnell received a slashing.

Behind the play they drop the gloves square off. They grab ahold of each other and Roy throws a flurry of rights to start things off. Roy throws two more rights while Cote struggles to get loose. Roy takes Cote's helmet off and the two wrestle around in close quarters. Cote connects with a left to the side of Roy's helmet. Cote attempts an uppercut before getting tied up by Roy again. The linesmen start to come in but Roy pops Cote with a quick left. They back away and the two grapple until the linesmen finally decide to come in.

Umberger returns fire with a right of his own, but Orpik responds with some more rights. Orpik pins Umberger up against the boards. Umberger throws a couple of short rights to the top of Orpik's helmet. They exchange rights once more and the linesmen then decide to intervene. Umberger skates away with a cut at the top of his forehead.

Right off of the faceoff they drop the gloves and square off near the blueline. They grab ahold of each other and immediately start going toe-to-toe with lefts. Asham goes down to a knee, but gets back up after a moment. They start going toe-to-toe with lefts once more until Asham finally lands one that sends Cote down to the ice. Asham falls on top of Cote and the linesmen jump in as well.

Eager gets loose and throws an uppercut inside. They exchange short rights before grappling some more. Eager throws two rights and a body shot. Brookbank pushes Eager up against the boards and throws a right. Brookbank follows up with a right cross that lands. They continue to wrestle around until the linesmen decide to intervene and end the fight.

Clarkson gets his left hand free and they spin around. Clarkson throws two short lefts while Smith struggles to get free. Clarkson then wrestles Smith to the ice and gets in a left while Smith is down.

Bradley gets up and throws an overhand right that misses. Smith gets Bradley's jersey over his head and the linesmen are forced to move in and break things up. They spin around and Laraque starts to connect with numerous lefts, knocking Cote's helmet off and rocking him. Cote throws a left of his own but it comes up short. Laraque continues to land with lefts until Cote throws another left, knocking both off-balance and to the ice.
