Roberts vs Eager

Ah the story of Ben "the ultimate coward" Eager. He runs and hides from Georges Laraque all yeat then one day sees the mighty BGL turn his head away and Eager strikes him with an elbow. Laraque spins Eager while on his back and then pummels him. But the cowardly Eager turtles and hides like a kid afraid of monsters. So the smoke clears and the Legend known as Gary Roberts challenges the coward, this time the coward accepts and gets an old school beating.
What's more embarrasing, the Pens losing 8-2 or Ben Eager losing to a grandfather and having highlights of it all over Sports Center? WWGRD? He would kick a young punks @$$!

The old man give this guy a lesson. Eager better try a younger player like 12 or so. Roberts at 41 made Eager look very bad. Way to go Gary. Nice cheap elbow Eagar. Nothing better than a cowardly cheap shot artist getting his head handed to him.

I love my Flyers but my God, can they please get a real fighter on this team! Cote and Eager are not it folks! If 41 year old Roberts lays a beating like this on Eager than Ben should be thankful the Larauqe did not fight him. George would have killed him.

you know everyone gets on Eager's case because of the elbow...but guess what... Laraque has his elbow up when eager comes in too. So its a double egded sword.
Eager gets his ass kicked. thats all there is to say about that. I don't like him at all. I say send him back down.

Roberts can to fight again.
Eager looked like always missing of his own.
A good uppercut by Eager in the end, but missed it badly.
Roberts landed some sharp, effective punches.
I think a nice bout, where Roberts was a clear winner.

The old school guys can throw a punch and miss, land a punch and take a punch and still stay balanced. The younger guys flop way too much. Gary Roberts has fought a lot better guys than this.

I wonder if big bad Ben was hungry after that one....he ate lots of Robert's fists!!!

That's a great job Ben, you blocked all of the 41 year old mans punches with your head and face and then you take a cheap elbow shot at George with his head down. Tough Guy...more like coward. You take a cowardly cheap shot at George and then think you can save face by fighting Roberts and u end up getting pummeled. Then u do an excellent job of hiding under the bench.ROTF . u philly fans spend to much time touching yourself when u win. Lets see where your at in April. I agree Roberts put the smackdown on Eager,where idont agree Eager will go with big George this year.Laraque isnt totally bullet proof, i saw in person Dody Wood whip big Georges azz.

Roberts destroyed Eager and made him look silly... Can you imagine what Laraque would've done to Eager???
