Oct 4, 2007 Philadelphia Flyers Jesse Boulerice
1pd 13:44 Calgary Flames Eric Godard
Boulerice and Godard drop the gloves behind the play and square off just outside of the blue line. They grab ahold of each other and Godard throws two rights that Boulerice is able to move away from. They wrestle in-tight for a moment until Godard throws an overhand right. Boulerice goes down to his knees for a second, but quickly gets back up. Godard throws three more rights while Boulerice tries to keep his distance. Godard lands a short right uppercut and Boulerice just misses with a right cross. They exchange rights that miss just before Godard flips Boulerice down to the ice. Godard tries to get some more of Boulerice but the linesmen are right there to prevent anything else from taking place.

They square off. They come together and Godard immediately starts firing rights, not giving Jesse any time to react. Godard just overpowers Boulerice and drags him all over the ice, causing Boulerice to fall down a couple times. They then fall and the linesemen break it up.

Boulerice got owned! I foresee Philly sucking again this year on the scoresheet and the fight cards.

how did anyone pick Boulerice?

Not a great bout.
Boulerice looked about weak.
Godard was more active and he landed one at least, an uppercut.
A draw isn't a bad call.
I give a slight edge for Godard.

People have bad memories here. Win Godard if I had a gun to my head, but the only thing he showed was that he had better balance.

Has Boulerice ever held his own in a fight?

Clear win for Eric Godard. Boulerice never really gets off and Godard manhandles him without doing any real damage. Nice showing for the big flame vs a good heavy.

Jesse Boulerice vs Eric Godard

Godard gets Bouelrice attention, and they drop the gloves near the blue line, and begin to square off. They grab on, and Godard misses with a right, then rips Boulerice's helmet off. Boulerice goes to his knees, but gets right back up. Godard throws a few more rights, none doing any damage. He then throws a right uppercut, followed by a few more rights. Boulerice misses with a right, causing him to lose his balance, and they fall to the ice, while the linesmen separate them.

Jessie could never get going. Blame the stupid new jersey. Crappy win for Godard.

I like Boulerice but Goddard controlled this fight from the beginning and gets the win. Jesse looked like he was doing his best just to not get ko'd.

Godard's a monster. Boulerice has a lot of guts just to fight him.

Not even close...Goddard wins this hands down!! Being strong on your skates and having great balance is all part of being a good fighter. Boulerice should be grateful that he didn't get really tagged because he got dominated!!
