Pretty close fight but I'm gonna have to go with Orpik, it looked like he landed more quality shots and he opened him up. Did anyone else who watched the game notice Eager chicken out multiple times when Laraque came by. Laraque even tried to go with Eager after Laraque had a minute plus long shift. Eager is just a punk who only takes on easy fighters that have no balance.

Not a bad fight from two unexpected combatants, strong shoing by Umberger, but then again, strong upper cut by Orpik, edge Orpik.

decision Orpik Watched this fight live last night. Orpik opened Umberger's head pretty good. Light wieght fight could have been better

ahh, have to give it to orpik for actually landing a shot or two. umberger was pretty gripped up.

It's about time Orpik started playing more physical....Orpik wins hands down Eager should lose all respect from Flyer fans, afraid of Larque. Could've been a smart move, BGL can't play a lick.

What was that tune being played in the background? Made the fight almost worth watching.

umberger is NOT a fighter, so i thought he handeled himself pretty well. win for orpik.

and as far as the dude who is talking about eager taking on "easy fighters": ben eager is NOT a heavyweight. and hes not an idiot. laraque would have ripped him apart and he knows that so why would he fight a guy like that? eager plays the game hard and hits hard which causes his fights, rarely does he go out looking for fights like georges laraque does, who is the biggest goon in the nhl. now i'm sure cote would have went with him so hopefully he will be in the lineup when they play again on saturday.

I was at the game. This fight, unfortunatly was a highlight of the game. Umberger is from the Pittsburgh area and wishes he was a pen. I still remember him getting coldcocked by Campbell during the playoffs. Also, The rock could not get any of the flybabies to go. I hope Cote is in the line up on Saturday since Eager chickened out.

I got to give Orpik props for getting on right up against the bench like that. Gutsy. He also seemed to get in the quality chances while denying a good fighter the opportunity to do much.
