Draw...typical Avery in a hug-fest, acting like a bad-ass and going after a guy who is playing injured. Go after Riley Cote next time you gutless coward!!

Avery's problem was that he fails landing a good punch, maybe one lands well early on.
Richard was a defensive part of the two but blocking well most of Avery's good attemtps.
A DRAW, decent bout.

Avery was fighting in his 2nd game back from a seperated shoulder and was much more at risk than a guy with stitches on his nose. Stop being such a homers. Avery is not a dominant fighter by any means but for you people calling him gutless when he is fighting with a seperated shoulder when he's not even supposed to be playing yet you know nothing. As for the fight, it took Richards about 10 seconds to take off the helmet but neither player really landed anything significant. Avery was more active and got the crowd into it by showing GUTS!!!!!!!

richards has this look on his face like "you know my face is stiched up, you jerk" and yet he still goes at it w/ this little rat. richards is the best thing to happen to the nhl, avery is the worst

Avery was a coward for going after Richards knowing he had twelve stiches in his face.

The guy has no honour and was trying to get even since Richards cleaned his clock the last time they fought.

Richards is twice the guy Avery is.

Only dissapointment was that someone else didn't go after Avery after, he deserved a good whipping!

yea too bad Riley Cote was busy getting beat up by Strudwick and Orr in other games. Haha.

richards had the balls to drop 'em despite the nose being stitched up, but he still did not look like he wanted any part of avery. more of a hugfest than anything. edge to avery for at least trying.

Mike Richards is the man! cut on the nose won't stop him...win for his heart and avery is a punk for going after him

Typical Avery - go after an injured guy at the end of his shift. Avery wouldn't know the code if it fell on his head.

I will never give Avery a win- ever- after he turtled against Hordicuck a few years ago.

Richards was at the end of his shift when Avery targeted him. I am calling this a Draw because Richards was just trying to avoid the hits and Avery didn't land anything good.

Manystyles: Avery is the p*ssy. Richards was at the end of a shift and was really tired while Avery wasn't. Avery is a bi*ch.

Avery didn't own Richards last year, Richards won the fight between him and Avery.

if you want to fight, time drop the gloves and the visor at the SAME time. not the gloves first and the visor 10 seconds later.
