The linesmen know who is who. If there is a guy that is universally disliked the fights tend to go a little longer.

They did it well but the fight was boring for sure.
Avery did well here as he seems landing well of his solid punches.
He got the bets punch of the fight.
Clarkson used well his longer reach here.
I say a draw.

Were they stapled together?

Clarkson threw more.

Win Clarkson

Clarkson gets the edge...very close however......is Clarkson not supposed to be a heavyweight? Everytime he fights he is a joke. Not much of an Avery fan but he should of got his ass kicked. Send Clarkson down to the minors or the east coast league where he truly belongs....never mind as he will get his butt whipped BIG time there.

No big punches landed, a textbook draw.

apparently avery doesn't mind being choked out. that jersey choke had him looking red in the face. good thing he didn't pass out.

Clarkson only wins because Avery never does. This "fight" stunk.

For all you BlueShirt homers that are calling this a draw, or even blind enough to call it a win for Avery need to take a look at Avery's face, just above his left eye. Clarkson tagged him with three shots over the course of the fight and Avery had a "mouse" developing that certainly wasn't merely a cosmetic blemish. This fight wasn't even close, albeit not a lot of shots connected for as long as it went on, but Avery landed nada!! It's a shame Clarkson didn't get a chance to beat on Hollweg's face too, because when the NHLPA gets the instigator rule dropped for next season, punk agitators like Avery and Hollweg will no longer have jobs in the NHL!!!

I don't like when big guys use his reach to keep guy in distance. If you're fighter, don't be scared of beeing hit!!

Being a Ranger fan, I love the energy and tenacity Avery brings for the team. He will fight when necessary and holds his own. Sometimes he wins, sometimes he loses. this is one that he lost. Clarkson used his reach and size to his advantage to get the win. For someone who is supposed to be good fighter and Avery is supposedly a punk, he should have won by a larger margin.

All Clarkson in this one. Had the reach and Avery couldn't get to him.

Easily a Clarkson win. Avery is a joke. And to the morons saying that Clarkson should have won more convincingly you need to watch it again. Clarkson was landing shot after shot, and Avery had absolutely no answer.

Bottom line if you are a supposed heavyweight and you are fighting an agitator you should kick his a$$ and clarkson surely didn't do that. Using your reach to land a couple soft shots to the back of Avery's head is not gonna slow Avery down. I gave the win to Clarkson but far from convincing. i was shocked it was this close

For a guy that seems to always trying to start stuff and talk a lot of nonsense....clarkson did not impress me.
