Simmonds surprises Clarkson,
and everyone else concerned, for that matter...
as he easily ''handles'' a seemingly better fighter.

Clarkson was game but Simmonds has the wing span of a small jet. They give him an advantage over shorter opponents.

Hate the Flyers but have to like Simmonds, he has skill and can scrap. Clear win for Simmonds for using his reach and landing the first bomb

Damn...this Simmonds kid is under-rated !
Drops a legit pro to his knees,
I'm scoring ita 6 and a TKO.
Looking forward to round two...

Simmonds puts a good old scrapper on his ass not once but twice. Beautiful victory for the Flyer, 7.

Simmonds quickly sends Clarkson to his knees with a straight one and I don't think he recovered fully before being sent to the ice again. The second fall looked 80% push and only 20% punch but nonetheless it wasn't close.

WS comes through with an easy win over DC. I'm glad to see him doing well, he's a class act.

Clarkson went looking for it and got tagged straight away
This will be one of only a few losses for him this season though
