Crabb picks the riight (wrong) guy
out of a scrum...
allowing Simmonds to demonstrate
how important reach can be.

Can't make up my mind
on where Simmonds fits
into the middleweight pantheon,
but there were points in this one
where he looked, a bit, like...
''the original, free-swinging version of''
...Kyle Cliifford
I.E. pretty friggin' nasty.

Joey Crabb should thank Dion Phaneuf for his butt kicking courtesy of Wayne Simmonds.

Phaneuf had been targeting Claude Giroux all game, with Scott Hartnell challenging Phaneuf at least twice. This time out of the scrum Simmonds unloaded some long looping rights on Crabb.

Represent West Hill boy. Gotta love Simmonds.

Honestly, what is Harnells hard on with Phaneuf?

@Ases50, so if our biggest player was going after Phil Kessel, you wouldn't want any of your teamates to jump in? You just want him to get pushed around and roughed up? I'll believe that when I see it. Flyers don't cheapshot... Win Simmonds, a nice punch by Krabb though.

Crabb bit off a bit more than he could... claw.

LOL at Aces (and announcers). Blinded by their fandom. Or they're actually blind.

And whoever put down Asham, I have to disagree. I've always like Asham. Him and Simmonds would be a good middle weight tilt, although Simmonds' reach probably gives him the advantage. Asham likes to get the initial grip on the collar and get in close, so it could be a good, strategic fight.
