I like Downie but that was pathetic. Janssen should make him pay for that bitch move next game.

almost domination by Clarkson but was clearly better than Downie.

I had to give Clarkson the win, just because all of the mental flyer fans
out there voted for Snuggle, err I mean Downie.

another dirt bag episode for downie and the flyers! flyers fans must be so proud of their visor wearing cup cake and their "new" low class immage.

downie was laughing, trash talking, and practically sticking his toung out at clarkson- it was hilariouse

ill give the nod to downie for the hit that cut clarkson over the eye- after that clarkson just tried to pin downie up agesnt the boards

and no one should say anything about downies visor- clarkson jumped him if you watch the whole video- he didnt give him time to get it off

So many Flyer haters. How can those ***holes say that Downie clawed him. Downie's 1st shot cought Clarkson. Was the cut on the left side of Clarkson's face? He was grabing the right side of his helmet. That's Just *ucked up!

Wow 70% for Downie. That shows that the Flyers have officially the most homers on this site. And they are happy about his antics from this game. What's worse is he was awfully proud of that cut on David's eye, later in the game in another scrum, Downie was pointing it out to him. What a pussssy! With his "Extra Extra Large Faceshield" where his eyes are nice and safe. This guy isn't gonna last, someone's gonna rip that helmet off & drop this fool. WOW, AND U GOTTA GIVE IT TO FLYER FANS WHO SAY DOWNIE KNOCKED HIS TOOTH OUT. VERY CREATIVE OF THEM... WHEN IT WAS ACTUALLY CLARKSON KNOCKING THE HEARING AID OUT OF THAT RETARD. Oh, did I mention, Win Clarkson.

are you 40% ppl kidding?! Downie is obviously an over-hyped b!tch. plenty of time to get rid of the visor...with that sucker on he should have been a lot more active throwing punches. Clarkson was all about trying to punch Downie while Downie was concentrating on keeping the visor between his face and Clarkson's fist.

Did you watch the whole video? Clarkson is headed to the bench and turns when Downie yells something, then Downie rushes up and grabs him.

Good scrap. Downie lands lefts early, but its hard to see with the camera angle. The announcers talk about Downie clawing Clarkson, but the video shows Downie trying to pull the helmet off of the right side of Clarksons head, but the cut is on the left. Must be from a punch. Clarkson saves some face with a couple of shots at the end.

Downie is a load. Starts a fight with the visor on with a guy going off the ice. Face-rakes the guy, then pies out at the end. A true cheap-shotting loser.

I'm glad to see the majority of the posts saw it correctly. I watched the game and watched the fights again on DVR. Downie got jumped? What are you watching? Downie with the win? Are you kidding? Clarkson was rag dolling him all over the ice. And two things say Big Pu**y to me: 1) threatening someone on the internet and 2) getting into a fight like your a tough guy and then hiding behind your visor. The taunting part showed you guys who defend visor fighters are completely wrong. Would he be laughing if Clarkson was landing rights to his grill? I think Downie did catch him with a good right in the fight, but that was it. I don't know what caused the cut, but he was clawing at Clarkson's eye like a woman. I hope an honorable fighter like Cote was just laughing at what an idiot skirt his teammate is. Someone said Downie's a poor man's Avery, that was classic. And the Devils own the Flyers and they're supposed tough guy image. 7-3, laugh at that! Oh, and don't forget to pick up your hearing aid, ha ha ha!

I can't wait for the next NJ vs. Phi game!! Clarkie, knock this punk out so hard that he can't walk for a week!! What a scumbag, cheapshot artist Downie is...only Philly could be proud of such a player!! What will this guy pull next...as Downie is getting his ass kicked his only defence was to try and gouge out Clarkie's left eye...YGBSM!! How many ridiculous incidents is it going to take before Campbell bans this idiot from the NHL?? BTW, lose the shield Downie if you are really serious about being a bad ass...we all know what you're really made of, and it doesn't include honor or integrity!!!

Downie's such a tough guy, fighting with a visor....what an embarassment to the Flyers. If these jacka$$ is going to keep cheap shotting guys with a visor on, then I think that it's up to every other team in the league to demo him every time he skates on the ice....no scraps, just go for his head and knees until he learns to respect other players...it's worth the 5 minute majors
