High energy scrap between two of the league's ''less-likables''.

Slight edge to Downie, as he seemed to put on the jets

after that, highly-uncharacteristic, self-inflicted, lid toss

LOL @ BTWilson...''It's gold Jerry...Gold''.

Downie showed some spunk there, though the hearing aid was knocked out of his ear. The Caps leave with a nice road W but it was great to see TB pack the arena with a sellout crowd. Hockey is back on terra firma in Tampa Bay.

A spirited one...
Fair(ish) on the technicals but good intensity.
Couldn't help notice their momentary back and forth with their rights,
their timing was a wee bit off with their counter punches.
Guys like Deryk Engelland would have been licking his chops if any of his opponent did this. There is a science to the counter punch but not many know how to use it...
Gave it a Draw and a generous 7.

a wild, little awkward affair. though the energy was a-poppin'. i was hoping the bolt would get uglied by mad men, but i have to go with a draw and a 6. never seen so much simultaneous throwing and ducking before. ever see that seinfeld episode where george and jerry start swinging at each other and covering their mugs sitting at the table in monk's? 'not the face, not the face!' thats the first thing i thought of. all told, a good scrap.

I have to give Downie credit. He landed more shots, landed with both hands and muscled his way out of trouble a few times. Could do without the cheap uppercuts at the end, but a W; Downie.

Close fight but the edge goes to Downie for landing the better punches.

Hendricks always gets Downie's goat by landing that first uppercut hahaha

Interesting battle. Also interesting how Henricks was blamed for going after their goalie: seemed during the game that he was pushed by a TB player.

Exchange of rights, Hendricks seemed to have the fight in hand early, but the resurgent Downie clears off his own helmet, then Hendricks and gets back into the scrap. It is a see-saw fight with rights and uppercuts by each man.
Draw, perhaps slight edge to Downie but too close for a clear win.
