What an absolute joke of a hit by Erskine. As a bruins fan nothing irks me more than that subtle little elbow to the head, and Horton and Savard can both attest to the fact that that hit has no place in the game at all. Erskine is the one who deserved the beating and probably a couple of games watching from the press box. Even if it wasn't Erskine someone on the Caps needed to take one on the chin for that bullcrap and it happened to be Hendricks.

The fight itself? All Rinaldo. Threw every meaningful punch and threw them
With conviction. Win Rinaldo and a 7.

Rinaldo punches straight through Hendricks' helmet
on his way to a one sided double beat down

But Erskine is "gonna have some 'splainin' to do"
the next time these two teams meet

Is DJ King still a Cap?
His services may be needed
Signed Matt Hendricks

SergeantSchultz makes a great point about the linesman's double pump puck drop costing these two guys a game misconduct

Rinaldo on even the E. German ref's card. Shame they were tossed because the clown linesman has to pump fake the drop.

Francesca Rinaldo rides Hendricks like a motor car on fire.... Cheap shot by Lack of fErskine....

Rinaldo just destroys Hendricks. Now hopefully someone will do the same to Erskine. I wonder how many games he'll get for that elbow?
Crappy play from a crappy team.

Five game suspension--minimum--for that idiot Erskine. You can see him looking up at Simmonds and the elbow instinctively came up. He was going for the head.

I was watching the Blues-Red Wings game and the ref called a similar head shot major on Backes that led to the winning goal. Only problem--there was no head shot. The ref blew the call and cost the Blues the game.

These refs suck!

Good for Rinaldo to pound Hendricks.

Win Zinaldo, suspension Erskine.

I hope Erskine is happy with the result of that totally cheap and uncalled-for hit. He owes Hendricks an apology.

The Flyer fans should stop complaining about Erskine -- while that was a bad fore-arm shiver, he is not a dirty player. Rinaldo punishes Hendricks -- who can't fight.

No contest in the fight...rapid firing rights from Rinaldo.
If I were a bettin' man, I see 3-5 games for Erskine.

I would have liked to have seen Erskine defend himself- he can really throw. Cheap hit- you can tell he was going to get beat, and felt he had to do something....

Allday Zac Morris....Jimi Hendrix was not Saved by the Bell

Rinaldo has seen enough and goes after John Erskine...no wait a minute, that's Matt Hendricks. Anyway, win for Rinaldo.

Clear Rinaldo domination. To the mindless Flyers haters complaining how they didn't go after Erskine, did you not notice the part where Luke Schenn is being escorted away from Erskine and how Erskine leaves the ice?

Always good when a flyer gets hurt especially Simmons
