watched the fight three times and the first time i saw it i was going to say win edge BGL....upon closer inspection i would say this is closer to a draw....early in the fight BGL's shots come up short...nothing happens really until the second half of this short fight where they both trade a few good punches. neither guy gets the take down

Cote did very well in this fight and he continues to improve!!

Win for Laraque. It wasn't an easy win, but there's no argument for the decision.

It's a nice fight as they spin around.
Not much landed here.
A draw.

I love Laraque- classy, respectful, and tougher than hell. Win for him on this one too, but great spit from Cote- points.

BGL gets the dub here for that insane left that sent Cote's cap into orbit, otherwise, good showing by Cote.

Big George wins. Credit to Cote though for standing up and trading. Nice to see Big George actually fight, and not just grab and throw.

"[Riley Cote is] pound-for-pound ... the toughest guy in the NHL."
-George Laraques

and

"He doesn't back down...I respect him a lot." -GL

Riley, you should be proud of yourself.

Saw a flash of whie flying through the skylast night. At first i thought it was something from orbit, or something from the great beyond. Then after a closer look, it was a flyer hockey helmit. Pens in five.

Am I dreaming or has Cote gotten a little better. Cote got a punch in BGL's arm. In warm ups he must have been praying that GL does't kill him. BGL by about 10 to 1. Number 9 took his helmet of his head. I see we have some, who voted for Cote. You want some glasses to wear?

Win Laraque, but great showing by Cote! He landed at least two big punches to Laraque's jaw (the announcers had too much a hard-on for BGL to notice) and didn't seem all that fazed by Laraque's punches. Usually Laraque throws one left and then pushes his guy to the ice; he's only slightly less boring than Chuck-and-Duck in Buffalo. Best showing against Laraque I've seen in a couple of years.

The Rock controlled the fight but Cote deserves credit for being the only Flyer with a pair under his skirt.

Good on Cote for hanging in there... but total domination by BGL.
