Pyatt gets in another right and Ivanans answers with one of his own, causing the two to go toe-to-toe with rights. Pyatt goes down to his knees for a second, but gets back up. Ivanans rips Pyatt's helmet off. They back and forth with some rights. Ivanans switches hands and throws a left jab. Pyatt counters with an overhand right. They exchange rights once more. Pyatt throws another overhand right that knocks him off balance and to the ice. Ivanans follows and the linesmen move in to separate the two.

They exchange short rights before Phaneuf unleashes a flurry of eight unanswered uppercuts and overhand rights. Ohlund lands a right to the side of Phaneuf's head and they wrestle around until the linesmen decide to come in and end the fight. Other Penalties: Phaneuf received a roughing; Matt Cooke a boarding.

He throws a couple of punches at Fiddler before Greg de Vries rips him out of the pile and the two square off at center ice. Bieksa lands a quick left as they grab ahold of each other. de Vries ducks under a right and then lands a right of his own that knocks Bieksa down. de Vries gets in another right as he follows Bieksa down but Bieksa rolls back to his knees and gets in a right on a downed de Vries. They get back to their feet but two of the officials are right there to break things up. Other Penalties: Bieksa received a game misconduct; de Vries a double game misconduct; Scott Nichol a roughing; Dan Hamhuis and Ryan Shannon each received a game misconduct.
