good thing Burns jump him early, refs broke it up when Mciver was going to throw them. Burrows really ticks me off though. If it isnt stupid penalties, then its this **** ( spears)

Burns did the right thing after McIver was the third guy in. What a couple of little girls McIver and Burrows are.

Burns went Inglewood Jack on McIver.

YEAH!!!! Wow, are there any bigger PUNKS than the ones playing for Vancouver? Good job, Burns!! Does Vancouver have ANYONE on their team that can actually fight? What a bunch of Phuckin bitches!

That wasn't a fight, it was a jumping spazz punching McIver's helmet. Then having the ref's save his arse when McIver finally gains his balance.

Win McIver on account of a cowardly attack by Burns, with intent to injure. Burns should be suspended the way Bertuzzi was. McIver should've fallen to the ice and faked a broken neck.

Burrows is hilarious, and I can't wait to see what happens when the Canucks meet the Wild in round 2 of the playoffs. Hopefully Bieksa takes another cycle of rhoids.

Yah some guys on this site need to get there head out of there ass. If Burns ever fought Mciver again which he wouldnt, he would be outclassed to a much superior fighter. If this was on skill, it definetly goes to Burns but he could not stand in there with Mciver if the squared off NO WAY. Oh yeah and MNBonecrusher, go take a look at lil ol Rick Rypien and tell me that he cant fight. Come on buddy, he's 5"11 170 fighting guys 200 plus and this kid can go. Too bad we don't have an Ogre line like Minnesota because Im sure there gonna get lots of playing time in the playoffs lol. And Burrows needs to keep his damn stick down, no need for that.

Those jackoff homer announcers are so brutal they almost make Cole and Neale look unbiased.

Almost.

McIver deserves everything he gets trying to be a third man in on Burrows Bouchard . And you still think it was cheap of Burns to pull him out? You're crazy if ya do.

lets_go needs to pipe down. What the hell does Calgary have to do with this one. Burns kicked his butt, plain and simple. Vancouver is a wuss team with wuss fighters. The minute Simon grabs Burrows, Burrows stops with the little guy. Oh boy, lets_go you really know your stuff. You are the punk!

I would have like to see Burns and McIver go at it a bit longer. McIver got back on his feet, but the refs got in the middle and stopped it from going any further. Burns took care of him and if had gone any longer Burns wouldnt have had any problems finishing him. As the fight sits I give it easily to Burns. No way should Burns have received the instigator penalty.

mm1160 your a dumbass the only reason burns jumped him is because he took a run at the smallest guy on the ice

burns should fight more often

This wasn't really a fight. More or less a scrum.

Burns is real tough first fight of the year, I saw him crying after he had is fit on the ice, McIver is a tough guy and I would be will to bet any one big money that he will win the rematch Burns second fight might be his last
and as far as the playoff Min has no chance against the Flames
Min you have 3 guys that cant play a reagular shift, your first line will get beaten down in the playoffs

For you Vancouver Fans. Do you have eyes? Remember the cheap shot crap that Sundin did? It goes on and on....... Then the spear? How did you not see it? They replayed it, slowed it down, and you monkeys still don't see it. Too bad you guys more than likely won't even make the playoffs. Listen to you guys, you are a disgrace to hockeyfights.com. Take a look at the toilet bowl, the Canucks are going down in the swirl. HAHAHAHAHA
