Byron Ritchie vs Matt Greene

Ritchie puts a hit on Hemsky, and Greene comes over and they drop the gloves. They have a short square off, and Greene throws a right uppercut, followed by an overhand right, and they fall to the ice with Greene on top. Quick fight, Ritchie really never got going either.

Not sure either of those two shots Greene threw connected, but he certainly controlled Ritchie in that very short bout. What happened to the penalty they call Charging...you know, leaving your feet to lay an open ice hit on a guy, kind of like what Ritchie did to Hemsky??

Boooo Greene!
He threw one and went immediately for the takedown.
He landed it uppercut flush.
He gets the narrow win, but Greene isn't a good fighter adn he is more or less a coward type of guy for the fighter.

hit probably should have been a penalty - elbowing or a boarding.

nice job by greene to step up for his team and challenege ritchie immediately. greene lands a punch or 2 before taking ritchie down
