Ritchie hung in there,, but loses this OK scrap to Souray.
Souray landed few punches to the back of Ritchie's head/helmet, but landed a good uppercut flush.
Richie got a nice takedown.

souray manhandled his ass. mismatch -- souray is much bigger and stronger. great puck skills too. too bad he can't play defense.

hdog, check out Souray's career fight card. he's fought the toughest in the league, moron. he doesn't have to prove anything to any one.

Souray, the biggest free agent flop since Alexi Yashin, drops em and gets hurt in the process. Moron. The game is 4-0, no reason to really go then anyway and he let's his team down even more by getting hurt.

Souray wins. He was the only one punching. Forget the takedown. That was because of these new crappy jerseys. I understand Souray got a separated shoulder out of it.

alright fight, souray definetly landed more, but taken down by ritchie, the thing i dont understand is how didnt they get fighting majors for this, all they got were roughing penalties lol

I agree with mikebflorida. And once again, Souray takes on the biggest monster he can find. This guy is a phenomenon; he is supposed to be this undefeated tough guy, but he almost never goes with the big boys. He is a manifest coward...he fights only when he knows there is a good chance he'll win. A real enforcer doesn't insist on choosing his outcomes.

souray is underrated in his fighting capabilities (remember the time he gave Darren McCarty a bloody eye)...heck, going back to the 2005-06 season - he's been voted the winner here on hockeyfights in every one of his fights. and i gotta say, he won this one too.

and in response to hdog - ritchie is the one who went after souray. ritchie could've got an instigator penalty if the refs wanted - but seeing as they originally gave them just a roughing, clearly, they weren't paying attention.

Souray can score, pass, AND fight....too bad he can't play defense even though he's a defenseman.
