I don't like the instigator given to Cowan, Foy was dropping the gloves. He knew what was coming.

Cowan feeling PRIT-TAY brave without Boogy in the lineup.. Misery, misery, misery thats all you've chosen for yourself Mr. Cowan...........

Foy should think twice about dropping the gloves again

Foy got OWNED! Big left ended his fight.

Cowan did the right thing here, even if it is a questionable interference the Canucks can't afford Luongo getting hurt.

I think Cowan got the instigator because of the way he closed in on Foy. An official was right there and might have also heard Cowan challange Foy.

In the game thread (and the announcing, too) Luongo was accused of taking a dive. It looked to me like he and Foy just got in each others' way and Luongo just tried to avoid Foy AND avoid tripping over the side of the net. That would explain how he fell forward even though Foy brushed him from the front.

luongo needs a speedo, he is dving all over on that one! the only reason foy did not get beat up worse is becasue he went down quick!

Nice dive by Luongo. Foy pays for it with a beating by Cowan. Luongo should go apologize to Foy. lol

This is the second dive I've seen Luongo take in the last couple of weeks. Players started shoving in front of him several games ago and a guy fell near Luongo who flopped like a fish. That's annoying.

Foy never had a chance

Foy never had a chance as Cowan got a good left in right off the bat and sent him down with a few more lefts.

Foy was outmatched here, but at least dropped his gloves.

Cowan easily.

I'd normally say Cowan won, but Foy was too busy arguing with the refs about the award winning acting job by Luongo. Overall it was a cheap fight by Cowan and this is the type of fights the NHL is trying to avoid. Oh of course Cowan is going to go after one of JL's energy guys to keep the momentum from going the Wilds way. Let's see him try that after Boogie's back and a lineup of Voros, Fridge, and Boogie for him to pick from...

Flop by Luongo.
Domination by Cowan.
Foy gets the golden pansy award.
