Pyatt gets in another right and Ivanans answers with one of his own, causing the two to go toe-to-toe with rights. Pyatt goes down to his knees for a second, but gets back up. Ivanans rips Pyatt's helmet off. They back and forth with some rights. Ivanans switches hands and throws a left jab. Pyatt counters with an overhand right. They exchange rights once more. Pyatt throws another overhand right that knocks him off balance and to the ice. Ivanans follows and the linesmen move in to separate the two.

Pyatt lands the big blow and cuts Ivanans. Slight edge to Pyatt.

I gave the win to Pyatt, Ivanans should have owned him, but ate 3 solid punches instead.

i would give Pyatt a very slight edge.....as far as i could tell Ivanans landed one solid punch and i think Pyatt landed about 3 decent punches. very good action....good on Pyatt for stepping up this will provide a lift to Vancouver's star players...knowing a guy like Pyatt will stand up even though he only averages about 1 fight a year!!

I think there are a lot of people here voting for a draw simply because Ivanans can only fight. It was pretty clear Pyatt won this fight. If it was boogaard instead of pyatt and everything went the same. everybody on here would vote for boogaard 100%. Good job pyatt.

Cheap hit and its nice to see that someone went right after Ivanans and cut him down! Very close fight even though Pyatt went down I give the edge to him because he landed better punches and openned Ivanans up.

Hand to Pyatt, he hung in there against opponent who is used to dropping the gloves more.

Close fight. Pyatt is way tougher than a lot of people give him credit for.

Great fight! This is the reason you cannot take fighting out of hockey! Pyatt isnt a fighter but when he saw that dirty hit he gave Ivanans a reason to think twice before doing it again. How was that not a 2 game suspension? Because there was no stretcher? Give me a break! Pyatt all the way, guts and loyalty!

Got to give a slight edge to Pyatt...good fight all around though. I'd like to see Pyatt drop them more often because the kid can hold his own!!

Pyatt can to fight, you see his fights against Boughner and J.Vandermeer.
Pyatt landed better punches here.
Ivanans controlled the fight and he got the takedown, but i am sorry Raitis, you lose this one narrowly to Pyatt.
