A nice fight here.
Vandermeer fights better at the start to the end.
Pyatt who holds on in the end mostly.
Vandy did more work later+he did have land better punches.
Looked like Pyatt were missing mostly of his nice-looking attemts.
EDGE Vandermeer.

Good fight. Vandy gets the win, but great job on both accounts.

Vandy wins. As big as Pyatt is, he should have done better. You could see that he knew he made a mistake taking on Vandy who has a lot more experience.

Pyatt kept it close early, but Vandermeer took control and won going away.

Vandermeer clearly got the better of a game, but overmatched, Pyatt.

Pyatt's a big boy, but Vandy's a fighter, not really a contest.

Good Fight, Vandermeer just got his arm free out of the jersey and wins on that.

Close in the beginning but Vandermeer pulled away. I really wish the Flyers didnt trade Vandermeer this year. Of course I also wish they didnt trade him the first time either.

Vandermeer with the marginal victory.
I was hoping to see something a little better out of him after getting whooped by Simon last fight.

Pyatt clearly had the advantage off the start and likely would have ended the fight early with a win of his own had he been able to connect with a couple of his punches. But the fact that he swung-and-missed allowed Vandermeer the time to get in a solid left hook, right cross, several body shots and two sneaky uppercuts for the clear points-win. By the end, it was fairly obvious that Pyatt was just hanging on and was happy to have the linesmen step in to finally end it.

geez...did vanermeer take a break during his philly time? Get traded and then decides to be a tough guy!! Would have been a fan favorite if he would have dropped the gloves down here. oh well.

Win for Jimmy. to bad Pyatt started it and looked dumb afterwards.
