Here's one version of events...
Lucic throws a couple of rights off the top,
but then mysteriously goes quiet,
allowing Vandermeer to establish a superior jersey grip,
and land some right-handed, helmet-loosening bombs.
Lucic wakes up, gets his right free, while simultaneously tying up Vandemeer's right, and stages a comeback.
Proving that a ''showing lefty'' Vandemeer.
is no match for a straight up Lucic.
Both finish with a brief toe to toe, in a strange, but entertaining scrap.

Could have gone either way, though Vandy landed the heaviest blow.

Draw!!!! I love Vandy, he is a classic fighter from the old days and Lucic is always fun to watch as well.

Good fight by two good lads...
Had a hard time reading Lucic. He paused after he started, not sure if he was rattled or not.
Lucic comes back at at the end though I feel Vandy had already gotten the better shots in.
Edge Vandy,
Vandermeer is tougher than I thought he was....wow.

Good scrap....2 tough lads. Going with VanDerMeer with the slight edge. However, a very enjoyable tilt for all.

First off, Bloodonyourlips is a total douche. There really should be a seperate fight site for biased morons, but oh well. Anyways, entertaining fight. Close, Vandy early and Looch late. I think Looch caught Vandy on the chin with one near the end. Vandy was doing the old Barnaby, I got tagged but I'm not gonna show I felt it, routine. Love or hate Lucic, the number or replies in here shows how much people want to see him fight. He throws heavy, angry punches. Better than that jersey jabbing and head noogying that some fighters do now.

excellent bout, you could see the apprehension in Lucic early, not wanting to get giant nose broken for the eighth time in three years, but when he decided to throw caution to the wind he got the better of the exchange. I gave a slight nod to looch and an 8.

Vandermeer edges on points and class. Whether it was better blows or just a harder head, I don't know, but that was the JV of old there. Good recovery by Lucic after getting tagged early and props to JV for letting him recover. We could have missed a great fight had he pummelled him senseless the way most rookies would have.

I'm gonna give that fight to Vandy on points. Win Jimmy V.
