i think no domination by Simon who puts Vandermeer down clearly.
Vandermeer was doing a good job here(landing 2-3 good punches) but took many of Simon's shots.
SOLID fight.
TKO win for Simon.

Simon wins, but great fight by both men. Tough and never backing down, both earn top honors for that brawl.

vandermeer has a hard head. simon railed him good. good to see the chief back in action, he's been catching hell past couple of seasons. really a decent guy, just has zero tolerance for punks and hacks. so he deals with them a bit more harshly than he should

Clear and decisive for Simon.

Who's going to call up Oge Ogelthorpe to deal with Minnesota's Hanson Brothers?

An excellent fight. For you Minnesota idiots, Vandy can fight; he did pretty well, but got pounded by a great fighter. Simon won with some great lefts. By the way, there wasn't a stick laying around the boards. Someone said Vandy tripped, but I give credit where it's due. Simon just landed some big punches.

Win Simon, but Vandermeer is as tough, pound-for-pound, as any fighter in the league. He is a top-ten heavyweight as far as I'm concerned, way better than punching bags like Cote, Fedoruk, Peters, McGrattan (Vandermeer destroyed him in the AHL; look on YouTube), and a match for guys like Goddard (Vandy fought him in the AHL), Orr, Belak. He deserves more credit, but he also has to be a bit meaner a bit more often.

Best Simon looked in a long time but it wasn't against a real heavyweight.
Easy to score a winner in this one - Simon.

Simon gets the win here. Vandermeer is able to take some serious blows to the face. Good bout thought.

Chris Simon is too old school tough for Vandy. I'm surprised Simon didn't bite him or step on his leg.
