Mar 03, 1996 Toronto Maple Leafs Tie Domi
1pd 14:14 Colorado Avalanche Chris Simon
Comments: They come together after some rough play in the corner. Domi has his helmet off from the beginning, but lands a good left to the jaw to start out the fight. Simon now throws several hard lefts that don't connect too well. Domi is able to slip in a great left that lands squarely. Domi is turned away as Simon is continually throwing his hard lefts, but is able to every now and again sneak in a punch or two. Late in the fight, Domi slips and goes to his knees, but comes up quickly. He throws two which land rather poorly, but after ducking under a hard Simon left he switches hands to land a good right. They come together now and the linesmen are quick to split the pair. Other Penalties: Mike Ricci received a cross checking.

Great wild scrap with two of the greatest of all time. I give it to Simon, but it was close and Domi NEVER quits!

Domi makes a comeback. You can't hurt this cement head. Another great scrap with both combatants landing solid punches.

I vote a draw but they are both winners in this tilt.

called this one a draw, but domi got in two good shots. couldn't tell if simon got many in, but looked to be doing most of the punching.

wow, close results, seeing domi got rag dolled, dropped, and only landed punches to the back of simons head. big edge to simon on that one

Domi with the win as I saw it. Both landed solid shots but Tie always gets an edge if it's close because of his size, skull hardness, and spirit.
