Date / Time Away / Home Team Away / Home Player
Nov 26, 2003 New York Rangers Chris Simon
1pd 08:29 Florida Panthers Grant McNeill
Comments: McNeill puts the stick between Barnaby's legs and tries to get him to go. As they skate up the ice Simon comes over and shoves McNeill. Another Florida player skates over to Simon to shove him. McNeill drops the gloves and starts hitting Simon with right hands, some of which hit. Simon is trying to get in fighting position as he was essentially caught off-guard by McNeil. Once Simon is squared away he starts hammering McNeill with a barrage of lefts. A solid left to McNeill's jaw snaps his head back and puts him down to one knee. To McNeill's credit he gets right back up and both players trade a few more punches before the linesman step in.

They both did it pretty well, huge toe to toe fight.
Simon was better landing the best punch of tge fight.
First did attack McNeil, then Simon big time but McNeil threw back a couple/few for the answer landing one or two well, flush to the mark.
They both ate a punches here, not only McNeil.
A narrow win to Simon, near a clear win because of that huge one by Simon.

For all of you guys complaining about McNeill "jumping" Simon I have a question for you.

Have you ever been in a hockey fight!? What did you think Simon was coming to do, invite him to dinner? I know this. When a guy gets in your face, he better be ready.

Believe me, Simon was ready. He took McNeils best, got his left grooving and nailed him. McNeil took a hell of a shot but still finished. Win to Simon. Props to McNeil.

One big punch, Simon was calm even when Mcneil was firing away, give mcneil credit for getting back up after getting hammered

Great toe to toe battle. McNeill showing great toughness as he gets right up after being dropped with a hard straight left!

Great fight. McNeill gets the jump on Simon who keeps his composure then throws some bombs including that huge left. Props to McNeill for taking it and continuing to be agressive.

Simon got him a few times but give credit to McNeill for still going after getting rocked like that

Got to give credit to Mcneill for the iron jaw. Most wouldnt have gotten back up after eating that bomb. ***** move though to start firing shots before Simon dropped his gloves and stick. Simon should have nailed with another one but was nice enough to let him live to see another day.

Great fight. One punch does not make a fight, that was a great left by Simon but McNeil gets right back up and hammers away.

Good effort by McNeill, but not enough against the tough Chris Simon.

McNeil is a candy ass for not squaring up with Simon. Simon did him a favor by not hammering him 1 more time after he dropped him with the left
