TP for my bunghole... and for the win.

Pyatt beat him up pretty good.

pyatt with the surprising win in this fight.

Posted by bruiseyoureye on March 28, 2010 at 03:05 PM

all pyatt.

Posted by fernben8 on March 27, 2010 at 10:47 PM

Don't know much of Pyatt but he comes up with a surpising performance against an established Stewart. Kept Stewart off balance with his strenght. Win Pyatt.

That is the first fight that i have seen Stewie in where he lost, he is a very tough guy very underestimated fighter, but in this bout, taylor pyatt just throttles him not even close... I would like to see this fight again, i think a rematch it would be alot closer of a --- Win Pyatt

Stewart sure picked the wrong guy to get in a tussle with in this game. He had to show he had testicular fortitude, but letting Pyatt use his face as a speed bag isn't the way to go. He did get in a few shots, but Pyatt was too busy letting Stewart hit him in the knuckles with his face.

Pyatt locks up Stewarts right, and proceeds to wail his way to a one-sided victory. Surprising, although Stewart isn't exactly at the Cam Neely level, when it comes to combining skill and toughness.

pyatt dont fight often but he is good at it.this fight is a proof of it.he beats sucha good fighter as chris stewart and wasnt even close

Posted by Riomouse911 on March 28, 2010 at 01:48 AM

Goal, assist, fight. A "once in his career, but still called a Gordie Howe hat trick" night for Pyatt. Oh, and he won the fight, too.

Posted by von_swine on March 28, 2010 at 04:35 AM

yo, I like Stewart, but I also like Pyatt stringin him out. Shame more players in the show dont play this way, go after somebody straight up and see what they got. No more duck n cover,..puke...

It's too bad that Pyatt plays with such a lack of intensity on most nights and doesn't have a real mean streak. Because whenever he chooses to drop the gloves, he's very good at it and rarely loses. Win Pyatt against a pretty tough guy in Stewart

Posted by WingedWheel_19 on March 28, 2010 at 12:45 AM

Wow! I'm impressed with Pyatt! Stewart is a machine and Pyatt handled him easily!

Posted by hal29 on March 28, 2010 at 11:34 AM

pyatt with the win. not bad for a none fighter huh? might point exactly with what i was saying about the thornton/regehr fight, but everyone else knows everything. if you look pyatt has less fights then regehr. has anyone seen the fight where pyatt beats vandermeer. vandermeer is as tough as they come and what pyatt averages what 1 fight a season. re-think what you write people. you don't have to be a fighter to be tough, this is why i don't call them non-fighters. non-fighters are like the derik roy, ovechkins others like them.

All Pyatt in this ok fight. Never seen him go before.

Posted by kronvallizer78 on March 28, 2010 at 07:27 AM

Pyatt effectively using the right jab to get the unanimous win in this one. Kinda disappointed by Stewart i think he can do better than that.

Eat my fist. Thank you sir I believe I will.

Posted by C.J.Richey121 on March 28, 2010 at 12:22 AM

Pyatt landed a bunch of little rights. Stewart really didn't land anything. Win Pyatt

Posted by towner35 on March 29, 2010 at 09:16 AM

Pyatt ragdolls Stewart in the end after rabbitpunching him in the suck a few times.

Posted by runky on March 28, 2010 at 01:50 PM

wow - I did not expect that from Taylor Pyatt. That was a good solid win again a big man. Chris Stewart doesn't lose many fights and is having a great season - but he did lose this one. Win for TP.

The most under rated fighter(, when he does) in the NHL! Damn that was a clinic!

Posted by Milocco on March 28, 2010 at 01:35 AM

Good for Pyatt especially because his fiance died last year in a motorcycle crash.

Posted by riffraff on March 28, 2010 at 04:18 PM

used to seeing this when Pyatt was a canuck. dont wake this guy up for a fight he can handle himself and surprise a legit fighter.

Posted by kimo_coyote on March 28, 2010 at 12:19 AM

Pyatt all the way against a good Stewart. At least two guys took care of their own business without the 3rd party sticking their nose in it.

Posted by slavv on March 28, 2010 at 03:28 PM

This was all Pyatt, who did everything right in this game. He finished with a Gordie Howe Hat Trick and Player of the Game honors...

Posted by yotesman on March 29, 2010 at 11:03 AM

Good job by Pyatt...............'bout time he did something like this...........been playing WAY to timid....for way too long................Sure did an admirable job on seasoned veteran..............................

Posted by billgoldberg14 on March 30, 2010 at 01:56 AM

Good to see Stewart get whooped. I heard he has girl parts.

Posted by ThrowdownSJ408 on March 30, 2010 at 04:41 PM

domination, he wasnt ready to bang. maybe being tired or bad position.

Posted by Razor73 on March 29, 2010 at 11:09 AM

You have to be honest - Pyatt didn“t land anything! He was knocking a little bit on Stewart helmet, nothing else. Before Stewart did get his fighting-position to eventually destroy Pyatt the refs stepped in wisely.... Stewart will destroy Pyatt in the next game - thats for sure!

Posted by Bosoxshute on March 27, 2010 at 10:32 PM

This one is pretty close. Maybe a slight edge to Pyatt for throwing more even though nothing lands.

Posted by Oil Can Henry on March 28, 2010 at 01:55 AM

Stewart couldn't beat Pyatt??! Pyatt's no fighter but he sure made Stewart look bad,....and it wasn't even close.

Posted by LilHockeyGirl on April 06, 2010 at 01:51 AM

First fight I've seen Stewart lose.

Posted by NJDevils17 on March 27, 2010 at 10:38 PM

Pyatt throws a hit into Stewart and Stewart returns the favor with a hit of his own. Pyatt didn't like it so they drop the gloves and grab on. Pyatt throws a flurry of eight or so rights with some of them connecting and pushes Stewart to the glass. Stewart throws a few jersey jabs and Pyatt responds with some rights of his own to Stewart's face. Stewart misses with a haymaker right and Pyatt responds with a right of his that grazes Stewart. They then tie up and wrestle around for a bit and the fight ends. Win Pyatt

pyatt lights up stewie

Posted by Snepts_stache on March 28, 2010 at 04:06 PM

Nice win by Pyatt. He doesn't fight often but he can handle himself even against seasoned fighters if he has to (see Pyatt vs Ivanans). Wish he still played for the Canucks.

Posted by PigIron on March 28, 2010 at 05:06 PM

Way to get even Stewart! But I actually will give Stewart props for standing up for himself. Easy W forPyatt

Posted by Rick16 on March 30, 2010 at 08:35 PM

a surprisingly strong fight from pyatt... he threw quick and short rights that prevented stewart from doing anything and then dodged stewart's late shots dominant effort

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on March 09, 2015 at 02:16 AM

Pyatt should fight more often
