That's the way you do it. You play the drums on each other's noggins. You'll fight for nothin' cuz the chicks are free. Yeehaw!!! Good old fashioned hockey fight...terrific stuff. Gotta go draw. They both threw ton of punches and landed a few decent ones. Bettman...were you paying attention? The teams and the crowd went nuts!!!

Why was Stewart beating that woman?

Posted by bigmike53 on November 26, 2017 at 07:14 PM

I think Stewie did enough to pick up the narrow win. Very good effort from both men.

Posted by Humper on November 26, 2017 at 12:07 PM

I think Stewart's excellent start was adequately countered by Thorburn as the fight wore on. Props for their endurance. Draw.

Posted by yngblonde1 on December 02, 2017 at 11:12 AM

A drawl only because of the length of the fight. Too tired to throw after 20 seconds of fighting. Reeves would have beaten both at the same time...

Nice dustup

Posted by Lucic_Power on November 26, 2017 at 09:36 PM

Thorburn better role player......St Louis is my cup favorite and they wanted Thorbun. Stew no slouch though.

Posted by DARCY T on November 30, 2017 at 06:38 AM

wow, i didnt expect such a fight from thorburn.especially when stewart looked like he was going to dominate him early.i thought he was in big trouble fighting a guy like stewart with not much of grip on his jersey.but he fought his way back to draw and then stewart seemed to be in trouble...good heavyweight fight...i think it was a draw but i also understand votes for stewart...gave it a 7

Posted by BennyD on November 27, 2017 at 09:53 AM

Nice clean honest tilt. 7 and a draw. Would take either of these guys on my team.

Posted by VinnyVile on April 01, 2018 at 03:21 PM

Thorburn started off slow, but after Stewart wore himself out enough Thorburn matched up with him very closely. I thought it was done once Thorburn hit the ice. Sure enough, he got right back up and stood toe to toe with Stewart. Great fight.

Posted by mo_town on November 28, 2017 at 08:29 AM

One of the better fights

Posted by Spinner55 on December 13, 2017 at 10:42 AM

Thorburn ties up the wrong arm and Stewart makes him pay the price early. Once Thorburn ties up Stewart's left hand, he makes a nice comeback. Good fight.

Posted by cdnwatchguy on November 26, 2017 at 06:13 PM

Great tilt. Stewart early, Thorburn later. Draw but both guys are worthy.

Posted by kj77 on November 26, 2017 at 09:27 AM

not sure if anything landed, entertaining bout though!!

Posted by theredbrigade on November 26, 2017 at 05:27 AM

Serious bonus pts for the length of the fight. You do not see many of these.

Posted by Orr Fourever on November 26, 2017 at 06:45 AM

I like both these guy's. Great fight. And I'll go draw, cause I don't wanna pick a winner.

Posted by the kid 61 on November 26, 2017 at 08:51 AM

Great scrap by to tough boys. Great stamina by both fighters.

Posted by TWG1992 on November 26, 2017 at 01:21 PM

Thorburn fell down. Stewart left the ice for repairs. Draw.

Great Fight between 2 heavy weights..... GOOO WILD....

Posted by NAILS13 on December 03, 2017 at 02:09 AM

Grossly overrated. These two swung hands until no one had a better idea. Stewart by an edge. EDIT Stewart by edge and blade and hilt.

Posted by WinnerWinner on November 28, 2017 at 11:33 PM

Edge Stewie

Posted by rocky 1 on December 04, 2017 at 02:28 PM

I laugh at how fast these guys get tired! No UFC training here for sure! Draw!

Posted by iralustmanHF on December 01, 2017 at 08:09 AM

close bout.. giving it to stewart as he got thorburns helmet off and his blows werent landing on a helmet.

Posted by BigBadBruins68 on November 28, 2017 at 08:10 AM

Good shit here. Strong start from Stewart, but Thorburn definitely came back to make it much closer. Still, I think a few more landed from Stewart gives him the edge in a great tilt.

Posted by Biggus on November 30, 2017 at 09:55 AM

Giving the edge to Stewart, but props to both for going until the tank was on E. Thorburn needs a haircut.

Posted by Peahead on November 26, 2017 at 07:11 AM

Stewart did better early, then Thorburn came back with lefts, but at the end, it looked like Stewart held off on the opportunity to really nail him with a right just before the linesmen moved in. For that alone, I give it to Stewart. As Blues Coach Yeo said: It was like three fights in one.

Posted by Krauseheim on November 26, 2017 at 10:35 AM

Love the “atta boy, nice fight” back pats at the end. Thor said later that he appreciated Stevie pulling him back onto his feet.

Posted by njteech on November 28, 2017 at 09:39 AM

Draw?

Posted by StaryFury on November 26, 2017 at 03:59 AM

moderately close scrap, props to both for the test of endurance. I think you can probably give this to stewart or call it a draw. As a blues fan, Stewie had the better start, and they were even in the mid to late rounds of this 10 round affair, so i gave it to him. hard for me to give it more than a 6 on just longevity alone.

Posted by Bear72 on November 27, 2017 at 10:36 AM

Stewart with the win

Posted by GoonVisor on November 27, 2017 at 04:46 PM

Get a haircut, Tiny Tim. Hessian

Posted by xaulxan on November 26, 2017 at 10:09 AM

Edge to Stewie.

Posted by EK65 on November 28, 2017 at 01:10 PM

The fight was great it sucks I had to burn my eyes out after watching thorburn's helmet become dislodged. This is the Stewart vs Thorburn fight I'm commenting on right?

Posted by Jellyczar on November 27, 2017 at 04:31 PM

Gave it an 8 .... 10 years ago ir would have been a 6 and 20 years ago a 5.... Slightest edge to Stewart and haven't seen Thorburn with that intensity and aggression with positive results .. ever.

Posted by germm on November 26, 2017 at 02:47 AM

Great old fashion tilt. Edge to Stewart for his control early in the fight.

Posted by purpleknuckles on November 26, 2017 at 03:05 PM

Stewart controlled 90% of fight and dictated the pace while landing 3x as many punches Folks, Thorburn was defensive the entire fight - landing 3-4 wild, eyes closed, head down, Hail Mary swipes Let’s walk up from the holiday malaise and acknowledge Stewart won the fight

Posted by Bigtimbrr on November 26, 2017 at 08:06 PM

Great ruckus...the boys used up all the energy on that shift. Just what is taught to go 110%.

Posted by Mounty in NC on December 04, 2017 at 05:36 PM

That was too close to call... give it a 7 and a draw

Posted by Viper207 on December 01, 2017 at 12:03 AM

A last hurrah for the extinct power forward position. A draw and a slow clap for guys still willing to give it all. Put this clip into the Hall of Fame.

Posted by Big_Fat_Dan on November 28, 2017 at 02:28 AM

Great tilt, Stewart looked like he had the upperhand but Thorburn never gave in. Top marks.

Posted by grrbronco81 on December 02, 2017 at 10:12 AM

Great Bout. Stewart started strong, but Thorburn pulled even at the end.

Posted by mfatty2 on December 16, 2017 at 10:32 PM

Very even fight Stewart jumped out to the early lead by getting the helmet off, but Thorburn responded well. With the endurance of both fighters one of the better bouts of the year so far. Draw in the end.

Posted by kari takko on November 26, 2017 at 07:39 PM

Great fight!! All Stewart until the refs DIDN'T step in for once and Thorburn steps up and gets the draw. 8.0 for stamina

Posted by kitcarnut on November 27, 2017 at 02:20 AM

CT scanned him :)

Long fight with a bunch of nuggies to the back of their heads.. Draw and a 4 at best

Posted by bbout2c on November 26, 2017 at 09:05 AM

thank you , thank you , thank you! Finally a real hockey fight , by 2 guys that know how to do it! NO JERSEY JABS OR HUG FEST. You are very rarely disappointed when these two fight , thanks again guys!

Posted by Behn Wilson on November 26, 2017 at 06:37 AM

Whatever you do... don't unleash the hair....noooooo! The horror Thorburn stays southpaw throughout and fights his way back to an arguable draw against an increasingly consistent Stewart I just wish that Sideburns would fight more often if only for the equally consistent follicular based Swiney posts

Posted by [email protected] on November 26, 2017 at 11:57 PM

Great fight. Much better than the comments on this forum have been lately! A bunch of whiney, "get off my damn lawn" grumpy old men comments. Quit the bitchy comments, pining for the old days. Terry Orielly ain't comin through that door any time soon. Had some damn good tilts this week, millionaire millennials, whacking each other in the head, what else can u ask for? Give this one a 7 and a thumbs up, draw.

Posted by von_swine on November 26, 2017 at 04:13 AM

as soon as the helmet came off I remembered that I'm almost out of Vitalis... somebody needs to cut T-bizzle's hair in his sleep and make him 'mortal' again. VERY close imo,.. but the 'style points' put him over the top.. #22 FTW
