Jan 18, 2008 Atlanta Thrashers Chris Thorburn
2pd 10:46 Buffalo Sabres Nolan Pratt
Thorburn gets Pratt into the side boards, knocking Garnet Exelby down as well. Pratt shoves Exelby once he gets back to his feet. Thorburn intervenes and challenge Pratt. Pratt obliges and they drop the gloves, squaring off just inside of the blueline. They grab ahold of each other and exchange short rights to start things off. Pratt lands two right crosses in tight and Thorburn responds with a right to the back of Pratt's helmet. Thorburn connects with a right and they then throw simultaneous rights. Pratt's shot connects and stuns Thorburn for a moment. They get in tight once again and Thorburn throws a right. Pratt fires back with a body shot and an overhand right. They exchange some locked-out rights before pausing for a moment. Thorburn throws three lefts while Pratt tries to tie him up. Pratt finally succeeds in doing so and the linesmen are right there to grab the two and end the fight. Other Penalties: Thorburn received an instigator and misconduct.

Why Tampa let Pratt go, I'll never know. Money I guess.

Anyway, ok fight, I gave it a draw.

God that announcer is such a homer.

Decent fight. Pratt got in one on the first punch and then the best hit dead on his nose/cheak in the middle. Thorburn got a few, but they mostly were on Pratt's helmet. Almost gave it a draw, but I believe that Thorburn got a shiner, so I gave Pratt the edge.

BTW, while RJ (announcer) is a bit of a homer, he is one of the most loved and longest running play-by-play guys in the league. Watchning the Sabres won't be the same without him when he finally retires.

Pratt with the edge.
A nice fight, but not great.

Even scrap. Both wanted to throw and both had good defense.

Each guy got one in, but as time went on, Thorburn landed an unanswered left. Thorburn wins, but barely.

A pretty good fight pratt landed a good one thorburn came back but give some crewdit to pratt as hew took a big hit in the corner and was still willing to dropp em.

Pretty even and heated, even if it should have been Exelby's bout. Pratt lands two or three straight on. Thorburn lands one or two straight on. Edge Pratt for landing the first dandy, and managing Thorburn as he got tired out.

Win for Pratt and the end of a shift, fighting a guy who just hopped off the bench.

Slight Edge Pratt. His punches were more direct to the face imo. Good Scrap.

Good fight, advantage pratt.

I would feel it necessary to question the mental capacity of anyone who votes thorburn here, its either pratt or draw.

honestly, pratt landed many ones squaaaaaare in the face, whereas thorburns were kinda wimpy ones

Edge to Pratt. And to the chump saying Pratt is the real loser cause he lives in Buffalo, haha seems to me you are the real loser.

Great effort both ways. Toe to toe more that most and not looking for an out. Where is Peters?
