Koci pumps away with some jersey-jabs before connecting with a left and a right. Boogaard lands two body shots. They each throw some short rights. Boogaard switches hands and throws a left cross. Boogaard then throws two rights that come up short. Koci lands a left in-tight and Boogaard responds with another left cross. Koci throws two rights that miss the target. Boogaard lands a short uppercut that rattles Koci's helmet. Boogaard lands three straight rights to the side of Koci's helmet. They go back and forth with wild rights. Boogaard throws an uppercut that grazes Koci. Koci throws two lefts and Boogaard responds with another uppercut. They exchange rights until Koci gets Boogaard bent over and throws two left uppercuts. The linesmen move in and grab the two, ultimately ending the scrap.

Lapointe attempts a few locked-out rights, but can't get anything going. Davison misses with a right over the top. They go back and forth with quick rights while each fighter tries to tie the other one up. They come together in close quarters and wrestle around until Davison slams Lapointe to the ice.

They get in close quarters and exchange some short rights. Laperriere gets Wisniewski's helmet off but the linesmen are right there to break things up.

The two come together on the side of the Blackhawks net and the rest of the players on the ice pile in after them. They drop the gloves, grab ahold of each other, and skate away from the scrum. Chara throws three rights to start things off. Koci responds with one of his own. They each throw simultaneous rights and Chara gets knocked down. He gets back up and throws seven unanswered rights that include a mix of uppercuts and straight shots. The linesmen move in and break things up. Koci is bleeding all over the ice and has blood all over his face from a cut on the bridge of his nose.

Glencross comes back with three quick rights that rattle Burish's helmet. They grapple in close quarters and Burish throws a short right. Glencross takes Burish's helmet off and lands a short left. Burish then rips Glencross' helmet off. Glencross gets Burish's helmet up and over his head and follows up with two rights and an uppercut just before the linesmen jump in and break things up.
