stortini perfects the ass-saving hug. koci is freakishly strong, stortini was exhausted halfway through the fight just holding the beast off.

DRAW Plain & Simple. How is everyone voting for koci here? All i saw were hugs from Stortini and Koci accepted the slow dance and was willing to keep the close body heat. WHO WANTS TO PULL OFF A DANCE MOVE THAT MIGHT MAKE YOUR NOSE GO "POP" AGAIN? SeeYa ~SirYohans~

Why does Stortini even bother to square off?

Close fight, but edge to Koci for the flurry.

Koci landed a few more and protected his face pretty good. Have to go with koci in a close one.

As an Oiler fan, I have to say it again. Stortini is the worst heavyweight in the show! Every time he takes on a real competitor he grabs and hugs them down. Good work Koci on keeping it going before the refs jumped in.

Stortina's hugging act should be banned by the league......if not by the oilers who HAD a proud tradition of good enforcers....Semenko, Mcclelland, Mcsorley, Buchberger, and Dave Brown, must kringe when they see tina "fight"

Great hit, Dowell! This was Koci's least exciting fight. If Stortini would open up and not hug, there would be some more entertaining fights. DRAW!

my god is it annoying to watch a fight where a guy wants to drop the gloves and get attention and not actually fight. ztortini is a little bitch hugger. i think koci had to be the best smelling person in the building that night why would anyone want to be that close to him otherwise. ztortini is no longer a fighter....he is now HUGMASTER!!

Having previously played with both Koci and Boogaard, I honestly have to admit that these two guys are supreme heavyweights. Back in Junior days Boogie couldn't fight his way out of a paperbag and Koci was learning the issue with being to offensive (nosebleeds were common). That being said, Koci is a tank. That man is in great shape and carries a lot of strength which he was using to dominate the fight. I was at this game and it was unforatunate to watch Stortini egg David on earlier in the shift knowing that all Tina wanted to do was hug. I do have to give Stortini credit for hugging all the tough guys in the league, but if he is going to stand in there he needs to be willing to throw a few. If you compare these guys though, Stortini plays a regular shift and is used in the first 5 and last minutes of any period. That speaks lots for his coaches confidence in his game...David didn't play after the fight...obvious who is the better and obvious who should just be a player.
