Koci with the win...nice to see someone who can handle boogaard.

Give the slight edge to Koci but I'm a Blackhawks fan so I might be being biased.

That was a great fight. I think Koci had The Boogieman kind of stumped. Koci appeared to be very strong, and the Boogaard couldn't just dominate as usual. Still good fight by Boogaard. Pretty closeto a draw, but I think Koci might have taken that one.

Great battle. Koci with the edge though as he landed the hardest shots of the fight. Derek was a little stunned there. Good to see the big man take a whoopin' once in awhile. It keeps him humble!

Good to see Koci able to keep his balance. This is probably the best fight so far in the young NHL season. I'm sure there will be many rematches to come. Koci gets the win, landed a few more punches, then dominated at the end.

Long fight which was even.
In the start Boogeyman landed a big one.
Koci landed one and gets Boogeyman helmet off of his head.
Nice flurry by Boogieman in the middle of the fight.
Those few punches landed to the side of Koci's helmet.
Koci still landed little better of his attempts.
He changed nicely his hand(to the left) in the end of the fight and landed one to the top of Boogeyman's head.
Slight edge Koci.

A very entertaining toe to toe draw from heavyweights.

David Koci vs Derek Boogaard

These two stare at each other at center ice wanting to go, but decided to wait. About 10 seconds later these two drop the gloves behind the play at center ice. Boogaard throws two rights, both hitting Koci's helmet, as Koci feeds Boogaard with a couple left jersey jabs. Koci then rips off Boogaard's helmet, and Boogaard throws a few body punches. Boogaard switches, throwing a solid left, as Koci throws a couple solid rights. Boogaard throws three rights, all hitting Koci's helmet, and Koci responds, missing with an overhand right. Boogaard misses with a right uppercut, as Koci throws a couple lefts. Boogaard connects with a right uppercut, followed by a couple overhand rights. The two combatants are starting to show signs of tire, but Koci throws a couple more lefts, and the linesmen intervene shortly after.

Whoever didn't score this a draw, I don't know what you're watching. Both guys super strong, both landed some and missed on many. The announcers saying Boogard "stunned" by a jersey jab? How can you say that? I'm sick of homer announcers. If you're going to call the fight, be fair. Best punch in the whole thing was probably the Boogard uppercut, the two lefts at the end by Koci were pretty meaningless. Not trying to put Koci down, we all know he is a pro tough guy, but there was no win here. I scored it a draw, can't wait until the next time these two meet.

KOCI! KOCI! KOCI! Did you see Boogaard's face after the bout?

slight edge to koci, because he's a beast and hung in there well in a long fight. boogie got tired, koci got his third wind and pushed him to the ice. boogie has the most insane reach advantage, his arms must be four feet long -- koci is almost 6'6 and still had trouble getting in close.

Without reading the reviews first, I'm sure the Gomer Boogy fans want to give him the win in any way they can but sorry kids, Koci won this fight all the way. He knocked Boogy man silly, still had his hat on, and showed great stamina.

A true heavyweight bout, not for the feint of heart. If Boogy had landed a couple of those punches......yikes!

Now, after reading the reviews, I have to wonder which fight some of you guys were watching? "I was at the game". Well, who gives a crap, watch the video Gomer, Koci won this fight all the way. Booger landed like 2 or 3 shots to Koci's helmet, which, oh by the way, stayed on!

Some of you guys are so funny, it's like you're watching a completely different fight and just can't stand it that your guy lost no matter who it is or how badly he got beat.
