Burish 6'1" 189
Backes 6'3" 210

So its ok for Backes to go after a guy that never fights (Hjalmarsson), but its not ok for a light weight to got after a middle to heavy weight (in size) that fights on occasion? I think Burish would do well against Janssens. I think he would also fight King. He wouldn't likely do all that well against King. King is a true heavy weight, however.

Your argument holds more weight if its consistent.

What better way to tell the world how big of a cheap shot artist you are than to grab a guy by the back and spin him around into your fist. Bertuzzi wanna be.

Great win for Burish showing some real class here. Starts throwing before both drop their gloves and throws after they fall to the ice. Don't start about Backes's last fight on this post--it does not compare to this low move. Yes there are only a couple of teams who want to mess with DJ King and now Jansen so this was a smart move by a weaker fighter to sneak up behind someone else, drop your gloves, and start hitting him as he is turning around. I am now laughing after reading this!!!! What a classless instigation.

Anyone see how the IDIOT ROCKHAWK always has to spends huge amounts of time defending himself (if Rock is a male).?
I think it shows that Rockhawk just votes & roots for the blackhawks.
The hawks ALWAYS win every fight.
They should win every game. They get cheated by the refs.
No one should ever be allowed to score against the hawks.
There should only be one team good enough to play in the NHL. (Guess who....yeah, you guessed it, The Blackhawks)
I personally am sick of reading the crap from Rockhawk and I now see that MANY others are too.
I just see a crazed wanna be fan that ruins the spirit of the rating system and the "review" section by typing in filth. Does he really think he intimidates people? LOL.

Ah yes, Burish shows what a pu$$y he is. Can't win a fight fairly, so just grab the guy and start throwing. What has he won, maybe 2 of those 14-15. He'd have no chance against Janssen either, whatver yahoo said that.

Burish jumped Backes who had shield due to injury, and burish wanted to hump bakus when they were down, typical blackhawk.

Burish was on Backes almost before the puck was dropped. Cheap shot artist. Burish spent the rest of the game trying to avoid DJ King. What a chicken.

douchebag....u still cant admit that it was a bitch move to jump him like that before he got his gloves and visor off?? if u dont think so then anything else you say is worthless. blues still have a better team than chicago regardless of record. if burish wanted to show how tough he was he would have done things the right way and nobody respects the way he went about it. you obviously dont know anything about hockey and u probably never played, you just get a hard-on during the fights and thats the only thing u pay attention to. and by the way i wasnt even alive in the 70's you F*ckin moron. because my screenname is pynkfloid i have taken queludes?? lol...ur a f*ckin idiot. i wish i could meet you and show you a real beatdown. i would waste you like janssen did adams. ur probably a little twerp with a big mouth. most chicago pus*ies are.

Yes it was cheap of Burish to start this fight before Backes realized that he even was going to be in it, but the entire night Backes was hitting our smaller guys like Kane and Toews in the neck and back of the head after whistles, so he didn't deserve a fair fight and don't blame Burish for fighting dirty once they got to the ice. Backes played dirty the whole game and he got a dirty fight in return.

You people don't realize that Burish went after Backes for Hjarmerson. Backes is a punk. GO HAWKS

It's hard to respect Burish after this. first, he basically attacks Backes from behind and doesn't give Backes a chance to defend himself. sencondly, if you want to be a tough guy in this league, you need to take the skirt off first. He Basically ran away from Janssens and King the rest of the night. they both tried to get him into a fight and wanted nothing of it. thats a chicken sh*t move on his part. BTW, Backes and Halmerson pretty much dropped the gloves together at the same time of the fight. Thats not attacking someone from behind like Burrish did. Burrish has to get a win because he didn't give the other guy a chance to fight him.
