Good Fight! Nash with the Gordie How trick and faired quite well with the tough heavyweight. Vandermeer landed often and Nash wouldnt quit.
JV decision

Nash held his own against a guy with much more experience with the gloves off. Vandermeer the best shots in early, but Nash recovered well towards the end and landed a couple decent shots of his own. Here's to Nash's Gordie Howe hat trick!

Gotta applaud Nash right there. The kids got alot of heart. But Vandermeer gets the win in this bout. Although, Nash definitey landed some decent shots. Just not as many as Vandermeer landed. And it definitey pissed me off to have to look at Ken Hitchcock for like 10 seconds while the fight was going. Who knows what might have happend during that time.

Nash was better in this fight(he isn't a heavy even if he is a heavy with his size).
Vandermeer fought ok, but in a way a lose to him, because i think he would shoult to take a narrow win at least.
Because Nash fights seldom.
Hopely he fights more in the future.
A draw to me.

I'll give Vandermeer the win but OMG!! Imagine if Nash started to fight?!?!
He more than put up a great fight and he is a goal scorer.
A Gordie Howe hat trick !!

Vandermeer landed more. Nash is a dirty player who hides behind his faceshield. Nice to see him get his face mussed up.

The only reason Nash withstood Vandy's initial flurry of punches was the helmet/visor. I'm not saying he should have taken it off pre-fight as it was a heat of the moment thing, but that is what enabled him to hang in there and have a decent showing against a much better fighter.

Great scrap. Vandermeer might be the most underrated fighter in the league. He can go with just about anyone and hold is own. He dominates middleweights. Nash did a great job here. He ought to do this more often. Draw.

Vandermeer had the early advantage. Nash more than showed up later in the bout- not bad for a goal scorer. Nice Gordie Howe Hat Trick!

Good fight especially for a Rocket Richard winner. The Nasher is tough.

Surprising performance by Nash. If he didn't have his visor on Vandermeer would have crushed him early. Some nice shots near the end by Nash, which I think gives him the edge in this fight. 9 times out of 10 Vandermeer wins this, but not this time. My vote: Nash.

Nash totally starts it and then proceeds to eat some serious shots from Jimmy Vandermeer. The best part is that JV is smiling while he's pummeling Nash. Jim Vandermeer for the easy win, especially since Nash asked to stop near the end.
