Fight looked like a draw until you see Koci's nose . Both guys landed some good shots but Koci was cut . Props to Koci , he never missed a shift and was hitting someone every time he touched the ice.

A great fight by both warrior.
Big punches here were thrown and landed.
Koci jerseys Belak, but Belak didn't really give up.
A bit better show by Belak(convincing ending).
Edge Belak

This could be a hard statement, but i think that Belak can be a champion.
If he gets enough good change.
You see his last year(also 00-01 season, 02-03 and -03-04) and he did a very good job his some fights.
Belak vs Brashear, Belak vs Peters

great fight nice to see them toss them....i think Koci is great for the league....he isn't into the whole jersey jab thing he is a good old fashioned T2T guy.

i call it a draw but it was possible edge Belak he has looked really good since mid last year when he came out of his shell!

i agree this fight was close to an 8 out of 10

Pretty solid fight, Belak!

Belak wins a good, entertaining heavyweight battle by landing the harder shots. Good free swinging affair. Koci suffers a broken nose.

Koci doesn't get into these lock out sweat punch fights. He has improved from last year. In interviews, he sounds like a little kid that is happy and excited to be playing hockey. It also seems like he skates and plays well enough to put big hist on people all the time. Even with the cut, I see it as a draw. He landed more shots. The cut makes Belak even in pretty good scrap for both guys.

Kudos to Koci, he had the shirt over Belaks head and could have pumeled him but waited for the refs to break it up.

Edge Belak here in a great toe-to-toe fight. Glad to see an actually entertaining Belak fight.

Too close to call...great old fashioned toe to toe slugfest!! I think Koci landed a couple more then Belak, but Belak obviously connected on a couple of shots as evidenced by some blood on Koci, not that it phased him!! This Koci kid is awesome for hockey, and best of all for the Hawk's fans...too bad every team didn't have a guy like him!!

Belak... no question at all. Even with the shirt over his head he still lands some good shots.

Good fight. Too close to call.

Great scrap. Nice to see Belak go toe-to-toe. Looks like he finally did some damage. Usually he just adopts the Andrew Peters duck-and-chuck-and-duck stance and spins around for 30 seconds throwing wild rights that don't connect.

Koci landed more than Belak. Both threw some heavy hits.

I love the dance at the beginning, Koci got his butt handed to him even thou Belak should have been the worse one off since his jersey was pulled up and over his head. Seems like the Hawks have found a decent fighter since Probert was retired by the Wirtz family.
