Belak outclassed Janssen all the way in this bout. Belak went right after Janssen and took it to him. He deserves all the credit. Jansenn's "finish strong" act after dancing and waving off the refs is getting tired.

Belak went to town early, though Janssen's style saved him from taking any big shots. Only after Janssen started throwing did anything really land. Belak landed three shortly after that, Janssen landed a few, especially later in the fight. The last true shots were one from Janssen that the crowd "OOH"'ed at, but Belak responded right away with a cross that caught Janssen, which was the last real punch thrown in the fight. I think Belak edges it out for throwing more, hitting more, and even when he was struggling at the end, still managing to land a few. Janssen did good and was not beaten senseless by any means, but god his fighting style is boring.

not even close. And Cam's Barney impersonation is OLD already.

Belak easily had the upper hand this fight. The whole "let me try and stay out of reach till he exhausts himself" style of fighting is fairly dull IMHO. As for Janssen, I give him full credit for dropping his gloves with some of the real heavyweights, but drop the gloves and fight, don’t skate around and hope the guy falls asleep before you throw a punch.

Decision Belak. When I saw it live I thought Belak went to a knee on his own but after seeing it a second time I think Janssen forced him down. Decent scrap.

Belak layed a thumping on "Meat-Head"... Made Kaberle proud in the dressing room!

Well done Wade! Too bad you weren't dressed in Jersey that fatefull March 2nd game...

I think the fight was real close, but even though I really want to give the win to Belak, I just think that Jannsen was better, especially towards the end of the fight. Jannsen lands 5 or 6 over the course of 15-20 seconds that are real clean punches.

one of the best fights of the year IMO. Belak clearly landed more, none slowed down Janssen, wheres the few that Cam threw connected hard and slowed Belak.

those who are bellyaching about Janssen seem to think that this incredible fight could have happened without him. we all agree it was a great fight - and thats because of BOTH OF THE PATICIPANTS.

Okay, who ever says Janssen did well is off his meds. Punches thrown may have been close but punches landed were like what 15-1 in Belaks favor. The only sportsdesk you could watch and they would say Janssen landed some shots is probably one out of New Jersey. Watch the video most of Janssens shots are missing and the hook in his forearm is hitting Belak which is not a punch landed. Belak lands some hooks and jabs the **** out of Janssens chin.

One of the better fights of the season by Belak. Kids got a lot of heart (and not a lot of talent, but that's ok in the NHL, which is what I love about hockey). Gotta give credit to Janssen too. After the Kaberle incident, you knew something was gonna happen. He faced the facts, took on one of the bigger guys in the league, and took his lumps. The classy way to exorcise your demons, in my opinion. Belak wins the fight, but can't really say a bad thing about either guy in this situation.

Cammie is a joke. A flat out joke.

By the way, this was hardly a "great fight." How many quality shots landed?

Nice to see Janssen get pummled.

A very disturbing trend is these guys who want to fight all defensive like Janssen, Peters, etc. It is, in my opinion a cowardly way to fight, using the helmet and pads to deflect punches.

As usual, I am sure some dipstick voted Janssen the win. You are wrong.

janssen made it close at the end.

I've seen Belak do a lot better. Throws a lot of air shots. Janssen's game plan seems simple. Let the other guy punch himself out.
