ok i like how someone voted for a tie or draw....who are you?? take a nap and leave the site

i had said before this fight that Belak has put together a good year and was top 5 IMHO

IMAGINE if he was still a leaf and how crazy that town would be going...Mr Belak is toiler in obscurity in Nashville but dare i say this fight gives him a legit claim to a portion of the belt this year

TKO knock down of Brash with the legs buckling and a winning record against Boogy....hmmm

sometimes its the quality of your win as well that should be taken into account when establishing rankings....nobody has ever made Brash look this bad that i can remember (maybe Simon way back)

That was great, Belak is one of my favorite people in the NHL, hilarious character, miss him in TO, I guess Brashear messed up his knee on the fall caused by the Belak left hand square to the jaw bone causing his knees buckle. Good night Donald

It was shaping up to be a very good slugfest when Belak landed a bomb.

Belak did a great job of showing left grab-right punch initially and then, as soon as Brash lunged, going for the right grab behind the neck. From that point it was just a matter of withstanding a couple of Brash's rapid punches, maintaining balance and pushing out with the right...
Yeah... real easy, right.
Anyway... It worked and Voila!... Belak was in perfect position to lock Brashear out past his preferred range and just throw parallel to his right arm directly into Donald's face. I like Brashear but seeing tactical fighting obliterate the odds from time to time is a wonderful thing.

LOL Love to see that!! Noogies to the head will never do that.

Have always intensely disliked Brashear for a number of reasons. The punch was a thing of beauty. But as much as I hate to say this, with his resume' don't start celebrating his demise quite yet. Everyone gets whipped at times

WOW. TKO for Belak. Brashear had him until that big hammer fell. I call that donkey kong left a 10. A thing of beauty, never seen Brashear manhandled in such a way. I'm shocked and impressed.

I'm surprised to see Belak's lefts were that strong. I know he jersey jabs a lot, but to see him drop Brashear like that was impressive.

I don't know if anyone here is familiar with the nickname given to Brashear over the years by other NHL players ... they call him Donald (the idiot) because he acts like a fool and has a smartass mouth. I would like to thank Wade Belak for delivering a much needed smackdown!!!
