wow. I hate Neil but he absolutely earned alot of respect from everybody for this. He manned up fought the best heavyweight, took his best punches and even landed a bomb at the end. Obviously a win for brash, but neil must have earned a ton of respect around the league for this.

don cherry said neil win the fight so.....cherry is dumb*** we all know. brash refuse to fight mcgrattan..why? may be because mcgrattan only plays a few shifts/game? clear win for donald.

I hate Brashear, but I love to see him beat up Neil because he's such a dirty player.

he stayed up because half the 14 (in total punches from brash) didn't connect or hit him on the back of the shoulder...he did take a few nice hits tho....And how everyone calls a win for Orr as i have too...against a flurry of Belaks punches and calls this a loss for Neil is beyond me..the winner is who is standing at the end...not who threw more..If mike Tyson beat the **** out of a guy for 11 rounds then gets knocked out in the 12th..it doesn't go to decision.,..he loses..just like in a hockeyfight but you usually have about 30 seconds to determine the win...not 12 rounds..Neil standing over Brash on the ground..WIN NEIL Same with the Orr fight..he ended it and he won...maybe some of you hypocrites mght want to check your voting privelige at the door if you can't be consistant

Saw the game live. Brashear was challenged many times by McGrattan and Brash walked away!!!! Then after a clean hit by Neil on Backstrom, Brash wanted Neil. Neil is Ottawas middle weight... McGrats is the heavyweight. I like Brash but was very dissapointed he wallked away from two strong attempts by McGrats. Congrats McGrats for doing your job, shame on you Brash for not tangling with the heavyweight.

Brashear with Philly could never get this punk to go, so better late than never as a Capital. Brashie doesn't even have his guard up because every time he's challenged Neil, he's never answered the bell. Now, we know why. That was a down right pummeling that brought the biggest smile to my face. Phuck, this just made my week. By the way, didn't see the challenge by "Glass Joe" McGratten. Probably did him a favor. To Sensenforcer: "To all you Neil haters, phuck you all" should be "To all you Sens haters, phuck you all". That's not nice or very sports-man-like. But this is: "To all you Sens, Neil, McGratts, etc fans, EAT A DICK!"

Brashear hands down. Can't believe he wouldn't go with McGratton, though. Puss.

Brashear must be throwing muffins out there... He hits Neil with about 10-15 shots, and it does nothing... Neil hits Brashear twice at the end and DECKS HIM! Even the biased Caps announcer admits it...

Big win for Neil against what I thought was a tough dude...

** By the way, for the unknowledgable fans talking about Brasehar and McGratton, McGratton destroyed Brash 2 years ago, when Donald was with Philly... It was a one-sided fight!

Brashear really laid the wood on Neil. Give Neil credit for standing in there and taking the lefts.

I agree with slshbleed, no need to try to show a guy up, especially when you're the one getting off your back. Not saying Brash didn't win, he landed a bushel of shots to Neil. I just hate trying to show someone up. If you win the fight, you don't have to broadcast it, everybody knows. I don't try to tell me it's to intimidate the other team, again I say the fight says enough. Credit to Neil for taking shots and still trying to throw at the end. But a decisive win for Brash. Too bad him and Big George didn't open up like this, heh heh.
