Comments: Right off of the faceoff the two drop the gloves and square off at center ice. They grab ahold of each other and Fedoruk throws an early slumping right. They wrestle around in tight and Fedoruk throws a flurry of body shots and short rights that knock Thornton's helmet off. They exchange overhand rights and Fedoruk tries to come inside with a body shot. Thornton comes over the top with two rights before losing his balance and falling to the ice. Fedoruk allows him to get back up and throws a right. They spin around and Thornton gets in a right while they are falling to the ice.

Comments: As soon the puck drops for the faceoff, Lucic and Winchester immediately drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other. Lucic throws a flurry of four rights while Winchester tries to get set up. Winchester throws an overhand right and then attempts a couple of locked-out rights. Lucic lands a short right, blocks an overhand right by Winchester, and then counters with another right of his own. They wrestle around in tight for a short while. When they finally get free, Lucic keeps his distance and fires off three more rights while Winchester struggles to get loose. They then decide to hold on until the linesmen intervene and send the two to the penalty box.

Comments: Lucic runs into Ivanans along the side boards. Ivanans takes exception and challenges Lucic, who decides to accept. They drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other. They go back and forth with rights to start the bout. Luic throws two more rights that come up short and Ivanans answers with an overhand right in between the shots. They go toe-to-toe with rights for a second with both of Ivanans punches landing. Ivanans misses over the top with a right and Lucic counters with short rights of his own. Lucic then wrestles Ivanans down to the ice and the linesmen are right there to break things up.

Comments: The two come together on the side of the Blackhawks net and the rest of the players on the ice pile in after them. They drop the gloves, grab ahold of each other, and skate away from the scrum. Chara throws three rights to start things off. Koci responds with one of his own. They each throw simultaneous rights and Chara gets knocked down. He gets back up and throws seven unanswered rights that include a mix of uppercuts and straight shots. The linesmen move in and break things up. Koci is bleeding all over the ice and has blood all over his face from a cut on the bridge of his nose.

Begin attempts some locked-out lefts before switching hands and trying with the right. Begin then throws three lefts while Reich tries to move away from the shots. Reich gets in his right hand free and throws a few rights just before Begin loses his balance and falls to the ice.

They square off at center ice until Chara grabs ahold of Laraque with his left arm. Laraque throws a left hook and Chara responds with a right. Laraque then wrestles Chara to the ice and the linesmen are right there to end the fight.

They grab ahold of each other. Crosby gets Ference bent over and tries to pull his jersey over his head. Ference throws an overhand right and Crosby responds with two quick rights. Ference fires back with a right of his own and then throws another to the back of Crosby's helmet just before they fall to the ice. The linesmen jump on top of them and break things up. Ference skates to the penalty box with a cut on the top of his head. Other Penalties: Ference received a roughing.
