Ference hits Crosby into the side boards while Crosby tries to play the puck around the boards. Ference shoves Crosby and they exchange a few gloved punches before dropping the gloves. They grab ahold of each other. Crosby gets Ference bent over and tries to pull his jersey over his head. Ference throws an overhand right and Crosby responds with two quick rights. Ference fires back with a right of his own and then throws another to the back of Crosby's helmet just before they fall to the ice. The linesmen jump on top of them and break things up. Ference skates to the penalty box with a cut on the top of his head. Other Penalties: Ference received a roughing.

Funny seeing the linesmen break a speed record getting to the corner when they realized who was fighting and then they saw that he was doing OK and backed off.

a nice fight om the corner.
Ference landed maybe the best punch of the fight, but got bloodied.
A draw, not much control by Crosby and he landed one nice one.

man crosby actually beat some in a fight,and andrew ference is no chump he does this on more than occasion,but his head was bloodied up and they both wear wisors but crosby was smart and knocked off his helmet and landed about six good rights on ference and ference on landed 2 but i think they hit sid's helmet or visor anyways,but ference did get the takedown but the win goes to crosby

Oh man. Crosby in a fight? I think this is what the game needs. Anyone in the league should be willing to go. I mean the game has been reduced to coaches gameplanning fights. For example , Boogaard is only dressed in minnesota when he has a fight lined up. We need less of that $hit and more old-time hockey! Great to see Crosby hold his own.

The Wizard of Cros drops the gloves! Never saw that one coming. Close fight, but Sid landed a good body shot. Where as Ference didn't land a thing. He did get a mediocre takedown. But slight edge has to go to Sid the Kid. Love to see the passion!

Sidney the Crusher Crosby with the win! haha he bloodied ex-Pen Ference. I was mad that they kept their visors on but since it was both of them then it was equal playing field.

Sid did very well. Smart to do the throwing early and be done with it. If I had his hands, I wouldn't want to bust them up on some guys face. Got no allegiances either way, but a win for Crosby.
