Ference goes 0-2 against star players from the Penguins. Win Neal.

Ferrence begs Neal to fight, then at the end he begs Neal to just go down!! Edge Neal

I am almost 100% sure that BigBadBruins68 IS Jack Edwards!

at ciccone4life, how do you even know what was said in that conversation. You see a replay of what happened. Lucic would have no problem going with Engelland I'm sure as he has gone with more experienced and better fighters and came out on top of pretty much all of them. If Neal wants to run around and back down from Lucic, then why can't Lucic, 30 goal scorer, back down from Engelland? (Not saying he would ever back down from him just a point.)
All i hear is you guys saying Neal doesn't need to fight...would that be because he is one of your top scorers and you would rather have him on the ice for 5 minutes rather then in the box? exactly. shut up and wish you had someone like lucic some where else. maybe go start a message board or get the players to vote someone on your team the TOUGHEST PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE.

Ference started it, Neal clearly finished it.... One thing you don't see in Boston is the typical Cansuck and Canadiens patented bite, scratch, or turtle and then come up smiling... Moments later in the Penguins locker room, James waddled over and Nealed down to pleasure Sir Sidney...

that was a very nice fight. good that Neal stood up. since he completely wimped out from Lucic's challenge, as he should. he is a good player and its good that he didnt drop them with an actual tough guy. good fight and ill agree and took the win.

oh and to SouthPaw017.. Neal clearly finished it?? explain that statement please

Win Neal. I thought I'd see bias from Flyer fans on this site but Boston fans are terrible. Yeah let Neal fight Lucic, you'd be the first to b***h if Asham went after your 40 goal scorer. Oh wait, you don't have one on them.

I remember when the Penguins had Laraque and Lucic didn't want anything to do with him and then he goes out and fights a European.

I give Ference credit for attempting to stick up for his teammate. The funny thing is Boychuk can handle himself better than Ference. Its hard to fight a guy 5 inches taller than you. Neither guy is a fighter.

Ference did land a few shots but Neal won.

Side note: This game meant nothing, Bruins started Turco. Goal was to come out healthy, and unfortunately it looks like they lost Boychuk for a while

Didn't think Neal had it in him.

Nice job by Neal, a guy with 5 career fights. You Bruin fans are usually excellent, but those of you saying he should fight Lucic or Chara, what are you smoking? Neal has had 5 career fights, Ference has had about 17. The Bruins don't lose many, suck it up and except defeat. Ference can usually look after himself with other lightweights like Neal, but didn't win this one.

It looked like Neal was fighting a child (but it was not a lopsided win like the Pen fans on here think). By the way, Neal is rather chippy and I expect someone closer to his size will punish him before too long

Neal turning down all sorts of guys in his weight class and he fights our smallest pugilist...win Neal

Ference landed a couple of pats on the shoulder and hung on for dear life. Win Neal.
