Adam Burish vs Andrew Ference

Burish, foolishly, tries his hand at toe to toe.

I felt that right by Ference from 1500 miles away. I forget--wasn't it Burish who said he was going to kick Chris Pronger's ass after the Stanley Cup finals last spring? Ya, hello--in your dreams, Adam.

I can't remember the last time I saw three fights in a row like this where one team pummeled the others so badly. Thornton, McQuaid then Ference of all people.

wow, i had no idea ference would be capable of that. i haven't seen burish today but i've read that his head is swollen like a pumpkin. ference and another 7. an 8 to the blonde in black and gold.

Listen, here's the deal. Burish is a fringe player at best, with a big mouth and very little talent or moxy to back it up. It's little victories like this, that help me to see that Karma is alive and well and that the hockey gods do in fact, sort things out for themselves. Burish deserved this, and Ference delivered. Somewhere, Chris Pronger I'm sure, is smiling.

Pretty spirited for two less than average fighters. Good exchange early with both landing some good shots but then solid tko right by Ferrence to end it. Ferrence had quite a bruise under his right eye but I'm sure it didn't hurt as much as Burish's face did.
