D.J. King vs Shawn Thornton

Good tilt. I gave it to the Thornton. I thought he landed a couple of nice rights at the end. Notice the one where King's left is all the way across his body, and Thornton drops a right in over the top. I thought King would win this one before I watched it, but he didn't land anything clean. Both were pretty gassed at the end, huh? I forgot to mention in the Lucic post, he got 3rd star in the game. Was that just for the fight?

Not a bad bout. Good to see Thornton back in the B's line-up. I think King will win this battle 9 out of 10 times though, as he is a more skilled fighter.

was a pretty boring fight. both seemed too occupied with taking the others' helmet off, which pretty much gassed both fighters. the worst thing about the fight was the announcing. HOMER 101....class in session!!! Nice line about D.J. but he DOES have a goal this season, next time know your stats before you take a cheapshot at a fighter!

I give it to King by just a hair. Probably because of the small series of punches at the beginning and the way Thornton was backpeddling a bit. King led the fight and won 51%-49%. VERY close to a draw.

CLose fight...draw...like i say...if fighters stay on there feet theres a chance of a gudun. Bit disappointed how it ended...King is lucky he didnt get a big shot

why did thorton stop. King wasn't at a disadvantage, I didn't like that. Although I'm an "anything goes" type person, there aren't rules in fighting...rules.. f rules!
