Spending some time with Neuber...
(the other guy that The Leafs should have called up)...
seems to have paid off for Rosehill...
as he tries to go over, and under,
on a better, but, seemingly, overly cautious... Thornton.

It wasn't spectacular, but it was hard-fought, and sincere...
which is why I'm going draw, out of respect for the efforts of both guys.

The Leafs were up 2-1, Boston scored two quickies, so Carlyle sent out Rosie to line up next to Thorny. This was a hard fought Pier Six brawl resulting in a draw. Toward the end Rosie sputtered and Thorny came back.

Too bad all hockey fights can't be like this one.

What a great scrap, Rosehill should have been up here long ago. Burke's wimps were not playing Burkie hockey, was more like watching ice capades with Mr Personality, Ron Wilson. Call it a draw for effort.

giving the edge to Rosehill, Leafs fans must be happy with coaching change

Close scrap between 2 tough lads. Wouldn't want to square off with either of them. I think Thornton's cuts were unrelated to the stitches he already had though. Giving this to Rosehill- both landed some haymakers, but Rosehill landed more.

Rosehill with the win... I see that CustomBroke-back invited GSP09 up to his tent on the mountain to join in some sweaty man love with Vigneault and Shanny the Tranny, because, as we have seen, the only teams getting calls are the opposition of the Bruins... I mean, they tried to give the Cansucks the Cup last year, but it was just too heavy... And all they got was a surprising riot and violence out of a normally pacifistic City (which mimics it's hockey team).... It's a Cansuck, City of Saints circle jerk...

Really good back and forth and there is no way I can call a winner eitherway....Great fight by 2 tuffies throwing

Thornton with a tough win. Previous cuts/stitches don't factor in for the opponent. If u are not a Bruin's hater u can clearly see that about halfway through Rosehill wants out! Thornton continues to land uppercuts and crosses and Rosehill is done. End of story.

Good back and forth draw...Thorny does well fighting with stitches

Good fight, but basically every one of Rosehill's punches was answered by a better one by Thornton, who gets the W.

Another goof bout, Rosehill just shades it.

Good fight! Win Rosehill

I don't think Thorton was planning on doing any fighting due to the stitches but I guess Rosehill didn't get the memo. Two tough guys going at it and each had their moments. Calling it a draw.
