Shawn Thornton vs Kyle Clifford

Now that's a friggin' hockey fight!


Draw, out of respect for the effort from both guys.

But it nice to see Clifford

finally establish a measuring stick with the big boys.

And being at, or around Thornton's level

on the pugilistic barometer,

is, certainly, nothing to be ashamed of.

Great back and forth, Clifford saved himself by skating away from the boards because Thorny was lining him up for the haymaker.

Great fight as usual when Thornton is involved. Win or lose, he might be one of the most entertaining.

Clifford does very well against one of my favorite fighters...
I hope he's got a good head on his shoulders to make a long career out of it. It's scary to think how dominant he'll be in a few years when he's stronger , 20 lbs. heavier and even more 'experienced '.
As for Thornton, he's got to be the most well rounded fighter this season.
Very exciting to watch.

Thornton but not by much. Clifford has been pretty good so far this year.

while not the 'best' fighters, as in top of the heavy list, these two have to be in the top five entertaining fighters this year. in terms of all around hockey play, thornton is a dream for the bruins with his multitude of talents, his consistently excellent fights most notably. the big dog steps up and takes on an established tough son of a bitch in thornton and more than holds his own. calling it a draw, though a win for thornton is quite tolerable, and an entertaining 8. ryan gosling step aside, there's a new man in my life.

Old School meets New School in this tilt and the results are fantastic. Thornton is always willing to let the knuckles fly and Clifford looks like he could be very exciting for years to come.

Thornton win, this Clifford kid just turned 20, holy frig. He hasn't even filled out yet, Mark my words JL this kids gonna be contender.........

Thornton looks like he may have connected with a better punch or two, but I'll call this one a draw. Clifford continues to impress me.

Clifford has that want that all fighters need,how can you not like either of these guys.Mind you we will see were clifford is at when he reaches thortons age and your knuckles are bent every way and your worried the caps on your teeth will be removed,and your head pounds from no sinuses.but great tilt.
