Date / Time Away / Home Team Away / Home Player
Oct 5, 2007 Boston Bruins Milan Lucic
2pd 02:45 Dallas Stars Brad Winchester
As soon the puck drops for the faceoff, Lucic and Winchester immediately drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other. Lucic throws a flurry of four rights while Winchester tries to get set up. Winchester throws an overhand right and then attempts a couple of locked-out rights. Lucic lands a short right, blocks an overhand right by Winchester, and then counters with another right of his own. They wrestle around in tight for a short while. When they finally get free, Lucic keeps his distance and fires off three more rights while Winchester struggles to get loose. They then decide to hold on until the linesmen intervene and send the two to the penalty box.

Winchester got 2 punches to take off the helmet, but then lucic did a good job of staying in there. Lucic won

Win goes to Lucic in his first NHL regular season fight and game.

I'm only giving Lucic the win because his punches seemed to have an effect on Winchester. Very close bout though.

A draw?!
Credit to Winchester with his activity to fight, but he isn't a good fighter.
Lucic dominate him, but not bad beating.

Milan Lucic vs Brad Winchester

Right after the Thornton-Fedoruk scrap, these two line up beside each other and have some words. At the drop of the puck, these two drop the gloves and start to scrap. They each start off exchanging rights, none doing any damage. Lucic then, lands a solid right, followed by a couple more rights. Winchester wrestles around a bit, struggling to get his hands free. Then, Winchester throws a couple rights, followed by a couple of rights from Lucic. Lucic throws a couple more rights, both hitting Winchester's helmet. Both combatants are starting to tire, and the linesmen decide to step in.

Lucic was by far more aggressive in this one.

Lucic landed more. Winchester ain't too tough with someone who's facing him.

Way to go Lucic! This kid is pretty strong for a 19 year old pup, not to mention tough! Winchester is a big boy and no starnger to dropping them, so my hat's off to the rookie (who still may find himself back on his Junior team). Close bout, but I think a couple shots got to Winchester, where he really didn't land anything significant on Lucic.

Awesome effort from the rook, why to some the hockey world that he won't go down easy to veterans.

Lucic without a doubt.

I love what I'm seeing out of the youngster Lucic so far this season. This kid is going to be tough for years to come.
