Zdeno Chara vs Guillaume Latendresse

This was not a fight! And Chara didn't beat up anything. Cheap elbow from Chara on a guy who is no threat what-so-ever. So a no-name teammate gets involved and Chara decides to throw whilel the linesmen get in the way. Then again, we're taliking about Chara. Of course, Boston fans are just like the Bruins' commentators; totally bias to Boston regardless what is happening out there.

Chara just jumps this guy after elbowing Kovalev in the head.

Nice to see Chara show some heart, lesson here is you don't push a huge guy without expecting to have a fight.

LOL, I guess Chara was pissed that this guy dented his stick with his teeth. I give credit to the Habs player (I can't believe I just wrote that), but at least he stood up for his teammate. I take all that credit away after watching him fold up like a tent in a hurricane. Chara should stick with someone in his weight class. He was one of my favorites going back to his days on the Island when in a preseason game against the hated Rangers, he absolutely rag dolled one of their supposed tough guys (maybe 7 or 8 years ago?). He also handled Koci this year, although we all know Koci had a broken nose. I just want to see him keep that stick up, and play it hard and clean. Just my opinion.

Good to see Chara show some spirit this year. I saw the clip with Latendresse in the box, he looked like a guy that had just survived a train wreck and walked away without a scratch on him.
Still, I don't think Chara gave him much of a chance in this one, though.

The best part of this one was when NESN showed Latendresse in the box afterwards, he made one of those "holy **** I'm glad I didn't die" type faces. It was hilarious. Hopefully someone can get the footage and post it somewhere.

You want Chara to fight someone like Ivanans huh? Been there done that, 10/11/05 he broke Ivanans face in a fight. He beat Koci into the inured list, and Koci had just beaten Boogeyman (according to voting). You can keep trying to knock the guy, but he is the baddest fighter in the NHL. He would beat BGL or anyone esle to a pulp. I wouldn't want to bet my money on anyone against him.
