Wow I thought Lucic was gonna kill him, I didn't realize Erskine could fight. He did some damage.

Erskine wins, I thought it would be a closer fight the way Lucic has handled himself this season.

Good scrap. Thought Erskine looking suprisingly good in this bout. Have to give Lucic credit though. In a few years he will be a killer!! Hope to see a couple more dandies!!

Lucic has been good this year but Erskine gave him a lesson. Nice TKO for Erskine.

Down goes Lucic!
See what happens when you fight guys in the same weight class as you.

Erskine all the way in this quick hitter...

What happened to Happy Jack Edwards? He wasn't as excited as usual.....maybe because Lucic lost (which is rare....he's a stud) and maybe because he didn't have much to exaggerate.

Erskine clearly handled Lucic. There's been a Lucic groundswell on the site, and for good reason. But he's done it against guys I wouldn't call heavyweights. He moves up in class and gets served. I'd like to see more footage, but it looked like he was covering up on the ice at the end in a way that doesn't look all that manly. Kind of like, "Please stop pounding my face with your fists. It really hurts." Somebody voted for Lucic, apparently Momma Lucic. He lives to fight again, we'll see where Milan goes from here. Oh, and the B's announcers were really getting jazzed about Lucic in his previous fights. Didn't sound like it this time. Erskine would get about 10 consecutive starts after this one if I was coaching the Caps.

Lucic finally gets beat. Erskine had an edge when his jersey got loose.

erskine with the easy win,i love this lucic kid but this kinda shows what its like when he goes with the big boys, erskine was just too much for lucic although A+ for heart on ml part, i love his willingness.

Great showing by Lucic. He landed some heavy punches, but Erskine hit him on the botton and put him to the ice. Lucic played a great game last night and I see him being in the league for a long time with his skills and heart. Win Erskine.

***For the Boston fan that said Lucic went down on his own... First, Erskine's tie down broke. Second, on the Washington feed you could see Erskine land a SOLID right to Lucic's nose that put him DOWN. Then they had a shot of Lucic in the box adjusting his nose (not sure if it was broken or not). ***

That's only the second loss for Lucic in his 9 fights in NHL. There were some heavy bombs thrown, really a great fight.
