Eric Boulton vs John Erskine

Fight of the Year, so far. at least from what I've seen..

...with both guys throwing everything but the kitchen sink at each other,
and swinging for the fences on practically every shot.

it's a wonder these two remained standing throughout this epic tilt.

Now that was a fight! Too many battles today are the crab style, side by side affairs where the guy with the longer reach has the advantage. These two guys were lobbing bombs at each other. I thought Erskine threw the most punishing blows, but Boulton gave it as good as he got it. Erskine came back later to score the winning goal, an identical slapshot to the one he scored against the Rangers last week. Bravo to both combatants!

I can't give anyone a win for that, they both deserve a draw. Unbelievable, what a performance. That was a Bo Derek fight, first of the year.

Holy crap

I don't usually comment on the voting but can't understand the gap difference between these two fighters. Honestly feel that the short replay shown of Erskine connecting has influenced the voting in his favor.
That replay was only the tip of the iceberg and were many more of those by both.
For those who are new to hockey or this site , this is a text book example of what a DRAW should be.

my brain doesn't have the capacity to understand how these two can take those shots standing. that was like watching bill brasky fight bill brasky. i am amazed, calling it a draw and ten. i don't know what more you can ask for in a fight.

Great fight, but no way that was a draw. Erskine not only landed more shots, he landed bigger shots. Erskine with the win.
