Edge to Godard. He stayed with it after taking a couple flush shots from Brash. Finished strong always looking to throw 'em...not dance.

edge Godard.....after brash's quick start i thought the fight was mostly Godard....impressive since it was foght on Brash's terms style wise and usually he comes out on top when its fought in close...i agree good start to the season

Brash comes out quick with a nice jab, and then gets mauled. Brash refuses to continue due to being hurt and getting his ass whipped. Goddard wins easily.

Two of the best. Brashear has that quick surprise attack. Very creative. He also overpowers guys quickly sometimes with that quick jersey pull and then feeds them a flurry of uppercuts. Some guys never recover..Godard did...because Godard is one tough guy. Godard recovered and almost eked out a draw before the refs stopped it. I gotta give Brash the edge cause he landed two beauty clear punches and staggered Godard a little there. I can't wait for the rematch.

Overall the fight was even. Brash strong early and then another flurry in the middle. Godard strong after the early flurry and then at the end. Brash continues and will continue to have trouble with right handers that are 6 foot 4 and strong (e.g. McGratton, Goddard, Shelly, Peters, etc.).

Very good fight, Brasher came on strong, Godard withstood the first couple shots and came back strong. I'd hesitate to give Godard the win since they had a nice little chat to end it, so I'm calling it a 7 and a draw. Good thing for Brashear a few of those Godard haymakers didn't connect. Loving these heavyweight fights to start the season.

Godard gets the nod and edges Brashear...better and more punches. Period.

Brashear landed some great shots right off the bat, but after he got a hold of him Godard started muscling Brashear. Brashear seems to do his best when he fights guys way smaller than him, which is often.

Some one tell the black Mr. Clean that hugs are for retards and cripples. Godard with the win.

Huggy Bear started well, but then got rocked and started to hug. Godard the winner.

Win Godard. The fight ended because Brash was cut and when the refs started to come in, Brash was finished. Godard must have caught him pretty good for Brash to not go anymore. Props to Godard for noticing that Brash was cut and possibly hurt and not letting loose on him. Anytime a fighter doesn't want to go any longer is a sign that he has lost. Win Godard.
