May skates over and knocks Boogaard to his knees with a hit at the side of the Colorado net. Boogaard gets back up and shoves May as May pins him up against the glass. Boogaard drops his gloves and lands a left jab as May responds with a gloved left. The linesmen quickly try to jump in between the two as Boogaard tries to throw a right around the linesmen while May still has gloves and stick in hand. The linesmen continue to try and separate the two as May throws a short left that hits the front of Boogaard's helmet. Things finally calm down and the two skate to the penalty box. Other Penalties: Boogaard received a slashing.

Boogaard landed a solid punch surely.
EDGE goes to him.
Not much of a fight really.

May would have kicked his ass if the officials had let it go. All Boogaard got in was a cheap shot.
