Entertaining bout with both guys hanging in there and trading.
crap fight draw
nice fight....not sure who really got the best, both seemed to land a share
good bout
Excellant !...........good fight , i'd give it a draw , but brad should of done better ..
Great fight. I voted "draw," but give Barch a slight nod for rocking May on at least one occasion.
Great bout between these two! A mid 90's May would have destroyed Barch, but what can you do. May is still an absolute warrior in 2008. Glad to see him still dropping the gloves!
Nice fighting. Others should take notes.
GREAT FIGHT! Free swinging away like crazy guys. Good one.
Very entertaining scrap, have to call it a draw. Both guys were throwing after a slow start.
This is the correct way for two pugilists to conduct a brawl. Barch is landing rights and May is connecting with lefts. I can't wait for the rematch on the 30th. Great fight and a draw
May believe it or not is one of the toughest players to ever play the game ever. This one here is a prime example,he has done this his whole career. Solid toe to toe fights! Hats off for May.
Come on guys... that's a draw.
These 2 never disappoint. No winner but then again I dont think there ever is with these 2, its always a good brawl with much respect on either side.
Good fight, call it a draw
Very good scrap! No clear victory either way. Draw.
Me like, me like. Pretty good fight, I call it a draw but no argument if you picked either one over the other.
Awesome fight, both had some great shots in there and both were throwing plenty, nice to see.
I was watching the game and one of the announcers said after the fight that this game should start having an undercard, perfectly put. Great fight again !
Draw....
Really good fight from a guy who collects a check from the Ducks while on Social Security (May) and a guy with a girlie first name (Barch)
Those were some haymakers boy, and they both took a few on the button. Especially that first good solid punch from Barch, But it woke May up and he got mean. I love those scraps.
Great fight!! Too close to call...got to call it a draw!!
Great fight, what more can you say? If you pick a winner from this, please get off this site. It's a draw!
Great fight. Just when I was going to turn to one fighter, the other lands and evens it up. Draw.
Great fight! Very close. Both continued to throw and land. Great endurance by both. Gotta give it a draw....
ONE OF THE BETTER FIGHTS THIS YEAR. EVEN STEVENS ALL THE WAY-GREAT FIGHT GUYS!
I was in the stand and have my own vid. This was another classic slugfest from May and Barch. Draw. Not sure what may was throwing his hands in the air after the fight for. Wouldnt expect that from a guy that is usually an honorable fighter. (Not in the vid shown)
This is how you do it boys, (Laroque,Cote, and all you huggers out there...lol). Brad May has been doing this for soooo long, and he has never "Selected" his opponents. Give him credit for going with some of the big boys that he probably should have NOT gone with. Anyways, this was a dandy, and a flurry by both gentlemen. Too close for me to call, but very entertaining. Now can we get ALL the "Huggers" on one side of the room, and all of the "Dancers" on the other side, and pay attention, dammit!...lol And if you're wearing a visor, well, if you're wearing a visor, just forget it, you'll never get it...!
Always a great scrap when these two guys drop the mitts.
great scrap here ;)
Great bout!
I love these two fighters.
I gave it a draw but if I had to pick, the edge would go to Barch for a couple more cleaner shots. Good scrap.
Good fight, thought Barch had an edge, but too close to call, has to be a draw.
Greatest Mano y mano fight rivalries EVER!!!!!
wow
may is a stout boy but an easy target for a skilled fighter. he throws hard but slow and exposes himself badly everytime he launches a shot. barch is just too lean and too worried about self preservation to capitalize. entertaining scrap though.
WIN May for landing the better punches and throwing more. What a rivalry!
nice, long, exhausting fight. may connected better, edge to him.
i like may better--but barch honestly won. tempted to give it a draw --just out of respect for both fighters--but the quality and quantity go to barch
not to bad of a scrap
another great rematch.. love the enthusiasm.. i bet these guys would be best friends off the ice..
May got the edge because of better/harder shots. Barch did well(of course!) but May finds well the target. A great toe to toe part where May got the best punch in.
You can tell that they were playing in Dallas cause those to guys thought Barch was hitting May everytime his arm moved. I saw one solid hit the whole fight by May. These two have punched each other too many times now, and they dont like it. Barch you are better off fightin Meon or Parros or Pronger. Draw
They were both landing a lot of punches but May had a lead because he was landing hard punches fright in the middle of Barch's face
may landed more
Awesome fight!!! May landed some tremendous lefts at first while Barch's ineffective punches were just connecting with Mays shoulder. The end got closer, but May punished Barch pretty badly at the beginning.
it was a good fight the best proly all year cant say either won. i want to see thes guys all the time may old school
Great fight! These two had a great one earlier in the year too. May gets the edge here, his punches really rocked Barch. Barch hung in there and had some momentum in the middle but May took over and controlled the majority of the fight.
The early domination of may with the barrage of lefts is why I gave him the win but Barch landed several good ones too I thought this was a great bout
great fight. May a very slight edge. Got to hand it to both of them for the effort.
Barch landed a few more. Decent fight between two honest fighters.
Barch lands best punch and stays active landsmore of the glancing blows due to activity. Barch wins.
May needs to retire. His prime has passed him a along time ago, maybe even way back in Buffalo. Very close, I'll give a slight edge to Barch for being more aggressive, landing more, and not slapping or swinging his elbow pad (a la Mark Recchi).
Slight edge to Barch...he wanted it more.
These boys sure do know how to fight! I wish everyone else fought like this. I give the edge in this one to Barch.
Great fight as usally :). I give slidge edge to Barch because he makes good work at the end.
Wow. Can we have these two dance every night for a different team? Their four scraps this year have been entertaining. Almost a draw, but I did see Barch snap May's head back a few times to give him the slight edge.
close fight. i'll give the edge to barch for a few more landing.
very good fight . i agree , others should take note ( uhumm) BGL . i think Barch got a few better shots in than May . edge to Barch but a great close fight .
Barch landed more blows and blocked pretty much every attempt by May.....I give the decision to Barch!!
Another old school battle. Round two only a slight drop from round 1 this season...
Definitely not Avery v Clarkson. Helluva scrap. Barch maybe with the slight edge for being a little more active, but not enough for a unanimous decision. Barch on a split decision.
Great fight as always with these two. Barch was more active and landed a great shot after the flurry of punches. Slight Edge to Barch
VERY CLOSE FIGHT, JUST A SLIGHT EDGE TO BARCH, FOR BETTER PUNCHES LANDED, BUT IF THEY WOULD OF MET 15 YARS AGO WHEN MAY WAS BARCH'S AGE MAY WOULD OF KNOCKED HIM THE HELL OUT
Another great fight between these two. Barch gets the edge here.
If only all fights were like this. By the slimest of margins, Barch wins with that one great shot to May's chin. A mortal would have dropped with that shot, but May stuck around to deliver some punishment himself.
Awesome fight. Barch landed more heavy punches. I love how May has only 7 fights this year....4 with Barch!!!!!
It's sad that more guys don't throw like this. Barch is finally figuring out how to dance.
When I watched it live I called it a draw. Almost too close to call. Watching the replay - late in the fight Barch does land some nice shots. Slight edge to Barch.
Barch landed one right on the button two-thirds of the way in that gives him the win. Barch is really coming on as a fighter.
This was most definitely a draw. It is amazing that May actually decided to confront someone from the front instead of hitting them from behind.
Barch landed more, but Mays looked stronger, and neither looked to have the edge in control. Drawwwwww. Good fight.
May would've won if he was in better shape. Look at how wide open Barch was after the first flurry of exchanges. He was WIDE open for a few straight lefts but May was too tired to do anything about it. Decent scrap. Draw all the way.
Good fight, draw
These two should have their own tv show
Great stuff- these guys were tuckered, especially May. May's been doing this for so long. I don't like him, but he's managed to keep going. DRAW.
Draw....
These guys ALWAYS give an awesome show!!!
These two always have great scraps. When do they meet again?
great scrap
I still hold a grudge against May for his sucker punch in the playoffs against Minnesota last year, but damn it if I don't love a fight where you can finish an entire beer before it's over. Draw.
Great fight and great hits from both sides, doesn't go much either way.
No clear winner. Great fight.
Homer announcers, you got to love it. May landed the better punches. I score it a tie, very close to call.
refs should have let them get their breath back and go some more
good fight i think may landed some better shots though go ducks
May landed the better shots while they traded. A good fight.
Great scrap! May gets the slight edge for better punches landed
What a BEAUTY!!!!!! May day....All the way!!!!
Looked like Barch got more shots in. May's were often deflected. Barch with the win.
