Wanted to give Rypien the win for showing up against a giant but since Sutton isn't a fighter and zero punches landed this is a clear draw.

Sutton slipped I believe but I think it was a blessing for him because Rip was just about ready to tee off. Sutton can definitely hold his own though.

5'10" 170lbs vs. 6'6" 240lbs Nough said. Ryp put the giant on his knees.

Double R lashes out frustrations on Sutton who apparently went to the George Parros school of balance.... W Double R IT'S THE LAWWWW OF THE WEST.....

People that voted for Sutton once again prove that this forum has the most clueless people around.

Rypien looked great again!

Who voted for Sutton? That's just silly.

I thought this was a straight up KD on first look for Rypien. On the replay it looked like Sutton went down on his own. Win Rypien anyway. Strange matchup. Great game and a nice way to set this season off.

Suttons right didn't land as cleanly as Ryps left. Edge ryp

Rypien with the win..............Rick's a tough guy no doubt..........................what a puss-bone Sutton is though

I love Rypien. Size has absolutely no factor when he's fighting.

Posted by dorobo on September 16, 2009 at 12:24 AM

Nothing connected? By that, you people mean, the 2 lefts that put Sutton down?

Posted by PYLrulz on September 15, 2009 at 07:04 AM

Forsberg, agreed, Rypien has some balls on him fighting with a bigger man.

Posted by nuckles88 on September 16, 2009 at 05:27 AM

hahahaha Rypien is amazing!!! Totally drops a guy who's 8 inches taller than him!

Posted by cheesecup on September 15, 2009 at 01:23 PM

Boogaard ? Are you serious rynryn ? I would like Rypien to fight the spiderman or megatron or shrek. Hey Rypien and Jesus would be a good scrap. Or wait , how about Rypien vs tropical storms or AIDS. That would be awesome dude!!!!!!

How does Rypien win when he lands nothing? Everybody loves the little guy scrapper, but come on....Typical nuck cheap shot on the goalie too.

Sutton isn't a great fighter for a big man, for among other reasons his balance isn't good, and his missed KO swing led to the opening for Rypien, who certainly knows what he's doing by getting inside against a bigger guy, and Sutton looked like he was covering up when he slipped. Still something of a victory for the David and embarrassing for the Goliath.

the ripper drops the much much bigger sutton with a few lefts.....mind you, rippers eye was black, swollen ,and huge from the the rumble with the reicher earlier

Rypien takes it to Sutton! Nice to see the guy is so game. I hope he drops the gloves with Boogaard this year! Size doesn't matter!

Little Ricky fells another giant. Both metaphorically and literally.
